APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. For views and opinion related to APSC civil services exam, don’t forget to view this APSC 2013 discussion page.

2015 Yr final cut off marks jane naki???
@pristine… first of all I must thank you so much form the core of my heart for your instant reply. You could have ignored my query . As a matter of fact,I have sent quite a few E mails and WhatsApp messages to successful candidates seeking their guidance but nobody bothered to write down a few lines. I personally think that it is futile to expect real social service from such people.
@Redeemed: Mostly followed “Indian Society” and “Sociological problems in India” by Ram Ahuja along with IGNOU material for first paper. Heard that book by Shankar Rao is a good one. You may check that. Case studies and opinions of indologists mentioned in the books are important. The tribes in Assam and neo vaishnavite movement have to be prepared separately. For that social science books of secondary level by SEBA and Assam Year Book by santanu kaushik barua are some good starting materials. Also tribal problems related to identity, land and modernization etc are regular news reports in AT. Note down important points and incorporate these ideas for answer writing.
THANKS Redeemed
