APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. Leave cut off and study hard. even if u failed, whatever u study wont go wasted.
So study and study.. Comparing previous years, cutoff should be 260(+/-5)..
Even if your score 200… it means you are competent enough to fight next year…
My last prelims mark was (225-230)… this year it should be 316…

@ Surojit, what makes you think once cut off will be lower than SC? Predict your cutoff according to some calculations if you are doing so…
If you will now say once cutoff was lower than SC in previous years, then let me tell you the reservation % for obc then was higher around 33% but this year it’s just 19%.. so definitely the cutoff for obc this year will be higher than SC n ST!!
Also 280 is far too high for OC, last year it was 282 when there was 124 posts.
So this year keeping in mind the no. Of post which is 205, and also the difficulty level of the GS paper and some optionals the cut off will surely come down by 20marks atleast i.e 260 (OC) approx and might be even less.

I m not giving advice to you shruti sharma ..I just telling about some people of this forum ….you said 285 score u gt ..but u are still on ur opinion..what can I do people like you u…I just expressing my personal views..but you directly says that I need not keep comment in this forum..it is not your personal forum..people should listen constructive forum ..suppose you gt selected..it can’t expected that people like u listen masses or ordinary people….this makes the difference between good administrator and just selected for position

@nivir,that was a typo,if wrong keys are included I will be scoring around 286.Any idea bro when corrected answer keys will be published?

@Shruti Sharma.. 285 is not a possible mark as all questions have 2 marks. so your mark should be “even”.. like 284, 286 etc.

some persons in this forum are not preparing actually for exams or appeared it..some other people are just time passing like facebook..how shurti sharma gt 285 marks ..may be 286 or 284 …? like some says is 278 is safe score for st category…beyond doubts they can qualify(excluding rare occasions)..there language or presentations reflects their true nature…so serious candidates keep it in your mind and be aware of some time pass remarks…suggestions…and many keep their names hidden..if they hv trust upon their own performance Thn they may not hv hidden their true or real name..it is not a matter of shame even if they failed..but what is bad is keeping their real name/performance etc hidden ..they are not reliable..

Is 285 including wrong keys for both gs n optional safe sore for OC?
@jitaranjana for ur kind information there is no mention for the signarture regarding the evaluation of OMR sheets ..the only guideline for evaluation was to put correct bubble against ur Roll No etccc and OMR machine doent detect ur signature n out of total 4 signature I put three correct and through cross checking they will detect the wrong one …but it is not suppoesd to be rejected as per my inviligetor informed to me.
