APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. My view.. Cutt off will decrease this time..
Few reason-1. optional paper level same as last year but Gs level little up than previous yr, few also feel eng lengthy.
2.This time more candidate from reserved category appeared.
3.few already selected in 2014 cce, so thy not appear in mains exam,
4.many veteran or senior player not able to clear pre especially Pol science optional guys..
So I think /feel this time cutt of will decrease 20/25 marks…

@Bandana I think Mains cutoff wil increase 10-20 mrks compare to last time & now Apsc facing storm so nobody can say when mains rslt wil b out, but we can assume that rslt wil out soon this time as candidates are less compare to last time.

Please throw light on this years mains cut off and result date.
I think new notification has nothing to do with the mains result…. Even last year and last to last year they didnot wait for mains or viva result for new notification… They will notify as soon as they get the green signal from the govt….

Well first of all this time mains results will b real fast. As far as i knw frm some sources whovare authentic results sud b out by jan last or feb first week. New advertisement wud come around that time as this time they dnt wan that exams of apsc b clashing. right nw the vacancy ad is with govt andbis expected to b cleared soon

@All dont be demotivated by such rumour mongers. I am reading hard like the way u r studying…Keep studying on…..No negatives should discourage us ever.
Anyway,if new advt will come then it will be very good for us.we just hope that it will be.

all those people posting advt aftr 3/4 yrs..can u plz shut ur mouth?? if u cannot motivate others..atleast dont demotivate them…there r hundrds of aspirants feelng demotivated by reading ur stupid infos…many aspirants r studyng real hard…let them study…
What about bdo result. 2 weeks elapsed but no result. This is disappointing.
All are calculating their own way…as for cutoff marks is concerned it is fluctuating…May increase or decrease..but as this year vacancy is low and almost all are aware about probable question structure ..ultimately we can expect at least 20/30 marks will be more
