APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. I hv given viva in d last 2 times, but could nt give mains dis tym though hv passed prelims. I can share my experience. I hv seen many friends who hv cleared viva n working in diferent position. Let me tell u one thing all is not well with apsc. Dnt expect too much if ur mains did nt go very well. They hv started manipulating from prelims.
everyone stop bragging and boasting of ur credentials..no one gives a s**t abt it evn the commission ppl dnt give a damn abt it..u mght be from an IIT or from Harvad or earning in millions..no one is asking u abt that…n plz dnt whine or moan abt quitng well payng jobs as no one has forced u to undergo ths ordeal..u took a mature decision to appear in the exm so stand by it n trust the preparatn will nevr go waste..plz stop the mud slinging business..exm keneke pass kora jai haitu kotha patok..mains ot ki optional rakha bhal aaru e bar ki optional or selectn besi..all these relevant issues

IT company salary bhal buli sabei jane, gutei jiban ejan genuine candidate sesta kari exam bhal haleu apsc sakori napaba pare.. raghab da is right in saying that drawing seven figure salary is no big deal in good companies. My elder bro is earning 28 lakh/annum. He is a MBA with 11 years of experience. Many of his class mates are earning more than that..

@Raj, sorry for the wrong prediction…. My source was wrong this time….. But there have been many instances when predictions have turned wrong….. So many of them in this forum predicted prelims results in May…. Did it pan out that way?
Salaries in corporate world are mentioned in figures per annum not per month unlike government jobs where in pay scale comes into effect…. So Microsoft CEO wouldn’t say salary per month :-)….. In the same vein my 7 figure salary is per annum not per month… So many guys are drawing such salary…. No big deal….. You will have to work hard for sure…. Elehua/dhudar posola hoi kola dhan ghatim buli bhabi thaka burar hapunaru agusar… Aru tumi mana namana tumar kotha bondhu…. Mur qualifications aru achievements bur t tumar acceptance r muhar nathakileu habo :-)

Last mains i did rti paid fees till today i didnt get my copies.What i meant who gets selectd must be indegeneous.an assamese can be anyone . Aji besi majuli history porhila sage :-)

N the most powerful minister talks to make apsc transaparent ,u all might nt knw his list was cancelld in 2013 since then paul becme his target. Ths the reasn paul delayd mains results.
@raghab, good decision & great attitude.I must say you are earning serious money. I have some idea about pay packages in IT companies as my college mates are earning close to 20 lakhs per annum with only 8-9 years of experience.. And all white income :-) Many won’t believe that as here in assam big corporate houses are scantily present.. I salute your father who has so much wisdom to guide you towards social responsibility.
