APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. Also remember, if the High Court as is the only rescue for most of you than remember who is going to gain once it puts a stay on the commission for conducting future exams? The Hon’bl court has done so in the past than who is going to gain out of it? Think.. Only the able will be deprived.
@Ak. Why there is ‘more’ of meritorious candidates? Why not ‘all’ of meritorious candidates? I hope you understand there is a difference between more & all.

itz in the APSC office itself. And remember friends.things like RTI(w.r.t State or central services exams) is most active and vibrant in Assam. Try and file an RTI in UPSC or any other state public service commissions. You wont ever get the replies except that it will be published soon in the commission’s website. Try it out if you doubt me. Ofcourse there may be loopholes in our commission. Hope it gets corrected soon. Just think if any of us had our names in the final list, would we ever want the list to be scrapped or stayed? Think! The amount of hard work goes in studying can only be felt and understood by a genuine candidate. Please be positive and i am sure things will be better. Only then can we make a better Assam that we are proud of. Jai Asom! Jai Hind!!

i filed for rti on 19th may,they have given only my marks not my copies which is my main concern..Where does the first appellate office exist?

I agree with bandita. The only grievance body we know is the high court. There are several appellate authorities. But our mind is filled with so much of filth and we live in an air of suspicion so much much that either we resort to violence or we select the bad choices. In this case approaching the high court seems one. The high court has many other cases to solve which are of greater public importance. Plus you are likely to get thrased by the court for not following rules and approaching court at every matter.
Every govt body has flaws. But we need to find our way out. Patience is the key.
@saikia and prasanta: when did you people file your RTIs? I mean which date?
Though i doubt @saikia has even appeared for mains.
There is a procedure established by law to get information through RTI Act 2005. If one not getting information within 30/35 days from the date he/she files Rti, (repeat again, from the date he files rti, not from the date when result out) he should approach the first appellate authority.

Something fishy must be there..not replying to RTIs is against the law…every aspirant should file for RTIs..one girl got a call for interview after she found mistakes by checkers in the copy and her marks increased..immediately file for RTIs everyone please..
List must be scrapped.. why are they not replying to the RTIs..its a shame..a real shame…CBI inquiry is the only panacea..
went to apsc rti section,as asked rs 400 deposited today,they say it will take time,already 2 months gone,just a mockery of rti.
12 tarikh loike wait karim. Jadi copy bor napao tente 13 tarikh High Court t case file karim.
hello admin and the concerned rest,it’s almost two months but no reply to RTI s,when i call them ,they say ,will themselves call and let me know,what to do?as anyone got their copies?urgently need advice.
