APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. I think here in this forum,enthu is the really deserving candidate to click d apsc. I don’t know why he has not been selected.His stock of English is really outstanding. I think even d examiner had 2 work hard while checking his answer sheet.That can b a matter of his failure. He use so many words which is possible to understand only for a linguist without dictionary. I think he will definitely clear this time. Just waiting to see this..my best wishes..

Moi jetia apsc r against t kiba kou, obviously that is directed at corrupt officials & candidates.. I don’t understand why The so called meritorious ACS /APS feel agitated.. Teulukar bule laz lage.. Arey bhai ami paisa di lua keitar katha koisu.. Otherwise we are proud of the genuine guys.. I bet every one would agree with me..
Kisuman manuhor karone ei forum’ot aanok advice dia bohut hohoj kintu nije situation’or bhuktobhugi nuhua leke kuneu buji napai. Iyat kunu iman burbok nai aru karu usorot iman homoy nai je enei enei boki thakibo. If not scrap at least the court should give a stay order on this list until a thorough enquiry is being done.

See guys, I have never said that the list bears only undeserving candidates.. I would like to believe that at least 50% are on merit.. Like I said earlier even if you have got yourself a job by paying bribe, it’s completely fine in this corrupt age & time..such cases can be seen dime a dozen nowadays.. I just made a request to avoid any jamboree & boisterous play of trumpet in favour of APSC which may exacerbate the pain of the bereft deserving candidates..
it also meant that I requested you to be a bit sensitive, a bit human & show some compassion. Believe me guys it won’t cost you a dime.. But now I can make out, even that is too much for asking!!
My answer is very simple……Proof diya bondu proof. I am damn sure many cleared through merit. Bhalke porha, faltu kotha pati laabh nai. Aru jodi APSC system iman bhul, then why people like enthusiastic were waiting for result declaration. Hihoti mone mone thakil heten jodi pale hoi. Are bhai jodi system e bhul then why did not you protest before??????????????????????????????????????? Pale khub party korila heten. Nai pua korone jukti torko kori asa.
Let CBI find the truth … toka diajen pabo bapukon hote…n this is democracy where majority counts…n if majority is thru corruption then together with corrupt officials they should also be booked…n the list scrapped…pise matibari besi toka dia keita he laumura hobo

@hriday, allow me to answer your question, “is apsc entirely unclean?”… If I answer that APSC is only half unclean and the other half is absolutely clean.. what does it infer? It doesn’t infer that everything is hunky-dory in APSC.. The answer to your question lies in the question itself..
