APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. @ Enthu
My paper also went well..attepted all.3 marks went wrong…. U r right cant compete who write their paper in 5 star hotel or Girls hostel..By d way u scored well in English last time. What was ur approach? Which book for grammar u refer for this short gap?
Mine was good too,hoping around 180 ,next is english where i am confident but then the game of optionals starts,subjects like socio,education…bang bang where do you hide? you expect 140 and get 40,50 or 60.
@pranjal bora, did well by my middling standards.. Attempted 300.. If I could answer to the examiner’s liking, might score around 200.. Can compete with the honest candidates but can’t keep up with those who write their papers elsewhere (pun intended).. What about you buddy?
@Harijit
Econimics is not scoring…i gt pathetic mark..despite writing lot.

Kalir exam kenekua gol …kune kiman attempt aru expect korisa G.S ot??
Those who are advocating for APSC, I would ask only one question. Do you believe from the core of your heart that APSC is absolutely clean? This is a close end question, so reply only in ‘yes’ or ‘no’..
If you can’t reply with a absolute ‘ yes’ then please don’t utter a single word for APSC.. Truth, integrity, honesty can’t exhibit grey shade. It can’t behave like a camouflaged chameleon. They are either absolute black or white.. Selection of even one undeserving candidate conks out the whole selection procedure..
So my dear friends, if you are selected undeservedly its perfectly fine in this corrupt times.. The black money that your parents have amassed must be put into some use.. So be it this way..
My only request to you is please don’t go Tom-Tom about APSC only because they have obliged you in lieu of a brobdingnagian sum of money.. Stay cool as your money won’t go down the drain.. Stay mum, well just not to exacerbate the pain the rebuffed but righteous candidates are enduring.. A small request which I don’t think you deep pocketed chaps would have any problems in keeping.. Adios for now :-)
On 7th dos appearing for 2014 mains have their English paper so gherao on 6th is nt a gud idea..

hello admin,in 2013 mains ,students who had optionals of education and sociology,their mark have been extremely pathtic or cruel in fact as many getting 30-40%,some even getting 20%,these students have otherwise scored exceedingly well in gs or english,this is simply ruining chances of students as once they were allowed to be taken as optionals markings should have been similar may be somewhat less considering the vastness of other subjects like history where students have got outstanding marks,now my question is this the same pattern in previous mains’ also?what subjects other than history are scoring in arts category?pol science?economics?
Friends, cut off kiman jabo eibar kiba idea ase neki.. plz rply..
Hi All,
I believe this website is extremely useful and should continue to do the good works. I know that some people are using it as a platform to use illegal words etc and also trying to demean the achievements of the meritorious students. But closing this site is not the solution. Just because of flood situation in Brahmaputra, should we take refuge outside Assam?? No. The solution is to build dams etc. Similarly, any illegal comments should either be posted only after admin approval/deleted or best ignored. I hope all the students have done well in GS paper and All the best for their next papers.
Paper ws quite easy but time was short…….. Mur bhal hoise…….pisat questions burar ans duta ata short Ke likhiba logia hoise…….
Hey frnds..hw was ur xam??hw much marks xpecting?
First of all,I request the Admin to scrap down ths website as becoz it has become a platform where unconstitutional, illegal words r often used and most of da participants….. I think thy don’t follow or read da website rules n regulations n comment like illiterates…… Most interestingly it hs become a personal attacking ground.
So I request the Admin to scrap this website as soon as possible.
@Admin. please make this forum a place for meaningful and productive discussion. Enough of hate mongering and accusing. There is no use shouting here, go to the court with substantial evidence regarding suspected candidates and let the law take its course.
Please let us get back to meaningful topics. This is not a grievance redressal forum but an academic one…
hello friends…
how was your exam
I am really very confused for the last two years this forum has been a great academic help to all of us.BUt these days students get scared of the forum.coz it has been transfers to a totally negative platform. we are also unable to share important topics for the students.
@admin
please make sure that new students can come back to the forum wid positive mindset.
can have sharing of knowledge as we did.
admin…your initiative will be welcome for the greater benefit of aspirants.plz
I dont care from which quarter help comes in getting the list scrapped.the point is the list should be srapped and the culprits should be punished.genuine ly selected candidates will again get selected and at the max will loose precious one year but the larger interest of Assamese people will be protected.
The officers selected by giving bribe are like radioactive wastes whose effect is felt for a long period of time.They will effect our future generation.in a state where student organisations are very strong,the right of genuine aspirants should have been protected but no.first time felt the burnt of corruption.god save my country.
