APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. @HARI,i am a candidate dost.i strongly believe that good administrative officers are must for a poor statw like Assam to develop.u already are far behind states like Gujarat,Kerala etc in development parameters.Officers selected through wrong means will ruin our economy.Corruption is like a nuclear fission reaction,which once started is not possible to control.These officers who have paid 20-50 lakhs for getting these posts will try to recover the amount as soon as possible,its a viciuos cycle.No doubt,few deserving candidates with their sheer hardwork has cracked the examination but the numbers of thosr selected through wrong means is larger.i strongly believe that if the list gets scrapped,it will be a huge warning to future bribe givers and may act as a check to a large extent.We already face development gap,these incompetent officers will further the development gap.we will become poorer.See dost,the quality politicians we have in India is known to all where politics is a full time profession.If quality of bureacracy also deteriorates,just imagine about the state of administration.One of the reasons Britishers were able to hold on india was their strong civil service i.e ICS which was called steel frame of British rule.With poor bureaucracy,our state will be ruined.And unlike states like Tamil Nadu,our state do not produce many IAS officers who r posted in their home state.most of the IAS officers are outsidets,though they r devoted fully to their job but dont u think that an assamese officer will understand the problem of his home state better?I just think,is it a joke?how dare a pious institution called bureaucracy be ruined in such a manner.We will have poor roads,poor infrastructure,ppor administration and pporer we will become.

Protest to change the system before the exam. Just what they did with UPSC 2014. Junbilake nepai halla kori ase hei bilake pale mone mone thakil heten. Dont comment ans answer here, just ask yourself, Is it possible to have a completely corrupt list?????? And no system is completely error free. Be it APSC/UPSC.

To all frends,we shouldn’t accuse the chairman for the current scenario.I personally know many of d selected candidates who doesn’t have any high profile background.They are successful today only bcoz of hard work & perseverance.Its not fair to blame apsc for selection of few whose inclusion to d list r doubtful. Our system allows it.Honble chairman is appointed by d govt.,so there is always pressure.so there are always a possibility of entry of some undeserved to d list.But it is he under whose strong leadership such huge no of appointments are currently running on,which is highly commendable. No one can deny it. Abhijit Sarma,Akhil Gogoi,H B Sarma etc. are only trying to tame these commitments & trying to get political benefits from d situation.So only focus on ur study rather criticism.Best of luck to all aspirants 4 2morrow????
