APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. Watching all the arguments closely and as a person who appeared for viva twice and didnt got selected, i do feel i have a small point to add and if people feel they can take it further.
The point where they make or can make manipulations is Viva, a 10 or 20 marks difference will push up the ranking and even the merit list, if the marks of all candidates who appeared for viva is shown and than a comparison of marks they obtained in mains and in viva one can possibly see the difference. One can also highlight the viva marks of doubtful candidates and how many persons sat in rakesh paul s board. If this turns out to be true , one can approach court
I can gaurantee there will be some insights because last year the topper got the lowest marks in interview and the highest was 194 in viva .

2)bahut besi paisa dise= good ranking
3)heavy political influence +paisa= good ranking
4) exam bahut beya hoise+average price=average ranking
5)congress blood+(?)=any rank
6)exam bahut besi bhal hoise or top twenty original toppers=lowest ranks
The fact of the matter is that for every Tom Dick & Harry who claims to have friends who were deservedly selected, many of us have friends who were selected in lieu of brobdingnagian sum of money.. As you know well about your deserving friends, we too know well about our undeserving friends.. Some of them have boisterously spoken about it.. The selection of even one undeserving candidate conks out the whole selection procedure.. So I request those who are in deep slumber to pull up and accept the agonising & unpleasant truth that APSC is not at all fair-and-square which it was supposed to be..
@Hridoy,dnt try to be oversmart.no one has taken any names directly to call for a defamatin case.can u explain about 392 marks obtained by a candidate(rti reply) in prelims(having wrong keys) and ultimately getting selected?we have freedom of speech and we are using it without encroaching upon others rights.u seem to have got selected.
@Hriday,who is denying the valid points u mentioned?but,its true that this exam result is influenced a lot by corruption and the prelims exam itself was erroneous as there were wrong answer keys.i myself know about 2 candidates who paid bribes but i dnt have evedence. evidence can be found by investigation by a neutral body like CBI.Why is no onw demanding a CBI probe.
@hriday.. Where did you get the statistics regarding 180 1st division & 13 3rd division from?
Some of my good friends had cleared and they thoroughly deserved it. For their benefit I shall say that guys, do not worry, we will file an RTI. you guys can file a Caveat in the Court so that the people who are deserving do not get deprived and court is bound to hear them if any ruling is supposed to be done.
Using unfound arguments could land us into trouble. We may even face defamation charges. Wo i urge all my friends to refrain from using assumed ideas and file an RTI. if anything is revealed than only take the case. otherwise you may land into other issues and create trouble for yourselves
Even though Merit should be the Basis of selection, We who did not clear should remember some points:
1. Getting 3rd division or 1st division in HSLC does not mean you are qualified for APSC. A person may have scored less in school, but it does not mean he is incapable of clearing a specific exam. Even UPSC has many candidates who got less marks in their academic carrer.
2. If a son of a MP, MLA or minister or bussinessman is good in his studies, it does not mean he/she got selected through other means. APSC did not say sons/daughters of rich persons are not allowed to sit in these exams.
3. APSC is not responsible for verifying criminal records. The police verification is what was designed to prevent people with police records from gaining appointment.
4. There may or may not be corruption, but where is substancial evidence????? Please be responsible and file an RTI, and then take up the case is anything is revealed in the RTI. I will do that myself. Refrain from using imaginative arguments.
P:S: Of the total that were selected 180 had first division marks and only 13 had 3rd division marks.
I curse these bribe payers from the core of my heart.u guys may become officers but u guys will remain chutias for life..u all r worthless..go to hell..
