APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. @pran.. Moiu news paper t parhisilu nanda babu singha r jiyeke mains dibo buli.. It’s his moral responsibility to abstain himself from all activities of APSC. But, then why are we relating morality with APSC..There is a wide gulf between them.. My hearty congratulations to SOON-TO-BE-ACS Miss Singha well in advance..

share and make the FB page-FIGHT AGAINST INJUSTICE OF APSC and lets get united.can we arrange a dharna or a hunger strike kind of thing in front of APSC office?This exam can be cancelled not on the ground of mere allegations but only something conctete.And i believe that concrete reason which can cancel this whole exam is erroneous answer keys in prelims which APSC has accepted through its affidavit in Guwahati HC.See friends,its now or never.how many of us can actually go for a strike in front of APSC office?
CM is stating that if any candidate complains with proof, he will investigate the matter.

APSC IS THE INSPIRER OF CORRUPTION IN ADMINISTRATION. THE STUDENTS WHO GOT SELECTED IN THE FINAL MERIT LIST BY BRIBE WILL THEMSELVES TAKE BRIBE IN ADMINISTRATION THEREAFTER AND THE PROCESS HAS BEEN GOING ON. SO ITS VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE SHOULD NOT ALLOW THOSE CANDIDATES TO JOIN SERVICE. APPOINTMENTS OF THE MERIT LIST SHOULD BE CANCELLED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
We all need to write to PM Modi and alert him about this situation. This just cannot go on. Merit has to be above everything else. Elections are approaching next year and the present BJP govt at the center will definitely do something I hope if we let them know.
@ankita… The decision/judgement of a High Court has binding only on the State to which such court is attached.. However The decisions of the High Courts have persuasive value. This means that when one High Court is deciding upon a matter, the lawyers can refer to how other High Courts have decided such matters. The High Court is however, at liberty, to differ from such other decisions.
One such case took place during the AGP government’s first tenure in the 80s on regularisation of a large number of posts of BDO.. They won the case because of a similar judgement passed by another high court.. Some of them are still enjoying the fruits of that judgement as senior BDOs..

@ Pranjal, Enthusiastic and all others.. Is it possible that by giving the reference of Patna High Court which scrapped the entire exam due to wrong answer keys in prelims, the same can happen here? Friends we cannot sit idle and let this pathetic state of affairs continue. And somebody in this forum mentioned about ekalavya academy coaching center where people got the question papers before the exam. If we can provide good evidence of this somehow, the case is definitely in our hand and the entire list will be scrapped by the Hon’ble High Court. This list has to be scrapped. We need to do this at the earliest and teach everybody involved in this a good lesson.. else there is just no point sitting for the next mains. Our efforts again will be wasted at the end of the day.
