APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. Dear Pran, thank you for your words. Its time to think not argue. I too have a senior who did not get throught after getting three viva attempts. I will most def share any info if i get. I stay in Delhi and have been away from home for quite some time. Please do share what you have. Sorry if i did discouraged it by commenting. Exactly Harjit, felt bad when he sarcastically remarked despite hard work. Some one rightly pointed out comparison of mains mark and viva marks should be done. Some one commented that some person got as low as 64 in viva. If some people gets 64 and other 190 plus, its totally injustice.
Don’t think we should fight against ourselves,time to fight against injustice meted out to deserving students,even i believe that may be half of the students sealed their seats on merit,no denying their talent ,but what about the rest half who sweated toil and got nothing except despair,those who suffered must stand united and fight for the truth,those who think they did not get deprived can sit mum.It’s our choice,our freedom.

@capsule. I hope so. I am not hiding behind a pen name like you. And my point is just do not drag everyone into corruption just because we are related. I believe in hard work so dont point unnecessary fingers at everyone. If u want to do a challenge, lets prepare for upsc and see who gets through. Dont be stupid enough without knowing the credentials. I am equally angry because my mains went well and interview too and did not even clear. A relationship is not a ticket to job. Hard work is. If i can contribute to protest against it, i shall.

Hi,this is urgent and serious,anyone who is feeling helpless and alone to fight against injustice in apsc 13 result, if he/she really believes that they were deprived ,should immediately contact public workers Abhijeet Sharma at his number 9854007867,he is ready to file the case in high court and has invited immediate response from all deserving students so that culprits gets punished,if you are sure please do call him,i am also victimized.
Dear MR Pran, do not alleged the whole set of relatives of Basanta Doley. I am a direct relative of him. And yea I did not get selected.I will be appearing again this time. So request you not to drag all relatives in it. And believe me like you it is bothering me how kin of influential people got selected and many deserving did not. Some frienda of mine deservingly got selected. Whereas some deserved yet did not get selected. Frusturation is same on this side as well.
