Sneha Sparsha Scheme of Assam Government

Sneha Sparsha is a Government of Assam health care scheme for Children. It was launched by the Department of Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam, in the year 2013-14. The goal of Sneha Sparsha scheme is to provide financial assistance for treatment of children below 12 years of age with some serious ailments. Diseases or complications covered under the Sneha Sparsha scheme include: Thalessemia requiring Bone Marrow Transplant; Blood cancer requiring chemo therapy, Kidney Transplant; Liver Transplant; Limb deformities requiring artificial and motorized limb; neurological anomaly like Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida; Cochlear Implant; specialized eye surgery; and various solid tumors.

  • Eligibility: Families with annual income less than Rs. 2.50 Lakh. Priority will given to families living Below Poverty Line (BPL).
