Swargadeo Suklenmung. Suklengmung (or Suklenmung) was the 15th King of Ahom Kingdom. He ascended the throne in 1539. Suklenmung shifted the Capital of Ahom Kingdom from Bokota to Gargaon or Garhgaon. According to historical data, the capital was shifted in the year 1540. It mean Suklenmung changed the capital right after becoming King of Ahom Kingdom. That’s why Suklenmung is also known as Garhgaiya Roja (meaning King from Gargaon). Gargaon is located at about 10 km East of present day Sibsagarh town.
