Don Bosco University or Assam Don Bosco University is a private university in Assam. Established in 2009, the university campus is located at Guwahati city of Assam. The private university offers multiple courses in Engineering & Technology, Social Sciences and Management.
History:
Assam Don Bosco University was established by Salesians of Don Bosco on March 29, 2008. It was formed under Assam Private Universities Act 2007. Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi inaugurated the university on December 6, 2008. Fr Thomas Vattathara is the Chancellor and Fr (Dr) Stephen Mavely is the Vice-Chancellor of the university. The first Convocation of Assam Don Bosco University was held on September 19, 2012.
Assam Don Bosco University has three campuses: Tapesia Campus, Azara Campus and Kharguli Campus.

Assam Don Bosco University offers Graduate, Post Graduate, Doctoral and Online Programmes. Graduate courses are offered in Engineering & Technology, while the Post Graduate programmes cover Engineering & Technology, Management and Social Sciences.
