The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) is recruiting qualified engineers on contractual basis for two years (contractual). A total of 14 jobs are open for Mechanical, Electronics & Communication and Material Science/ Physics/ Chemistry graduates. The contract term is extendable on performance basis for one more year. Engineering graduates with valid GATE 2014 registration number can apply for the posts between January 1, 2014 and January 20, 2014.

Pay structure: Selected candidates will receive fixed emoluments of Rs. 23000 (1st year); Rs. 24000 (2nd year). If a candidate is selected for absorption, payment will be on E-2 band (Rs. 16400 – 40500).

Qualification : Full time Bachelor’s Degree or Masters degree in relevant discipline with not less than 65% marks. Final year/semester students are also eligible. However, they have to obtain at least 65% marks in their engineering degree. Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) – 2014.
Selection: In the 1st stage of recruitment process, candidates will be selected based on the GATE-2014 marks and requirement. Reservation is applicable as per Govt of India rules.
