APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. I agree with you (winner)…APSC select Officers nt on the basis of language bt on his knwldge and aptitude..if one is able to communicate in a manner that cn b undrstandble its fyn..if south north n central Indian officers are serving here brillantly why cnt peoples 4 assam with little ability to speak assamese cnt..i m sure high level assamese is nt requird to b an officer coz the common men will nt undrstand even the assamese of upper and lower is diffrent..so lets nt disgrace othrs…simple ability is enough to b an officer rather than phd level assamese…and numerous provisons are also thr to improve during training..if one is really weak.
I agree with you (Winner)….language is nt a prblm..if Angamothu being an southIndian n other Civil Servants 4m other States cn serve here why cant the peoples 4m Assam…the thing is one must b committed..even im 4m english bckground and my mother tongue is nt assamese bt i learnd at GU to communicate well enough in assamese n im cnfidnt to serve as ACS…All the best 4 the positive result to all the aspirants.
frankly speaking the PC himself is not clear enough to give a final statement about results… coz the list would go to the highest authority of Assam govt(??) …thereafter it would come to us……

.kintu moi bahiror APSC aspirant dekhibo nowaro.Assamese iman tough bhasa nohoy it does have a little bit affinity with bangali so u will able to learn it within a few months so donot be disappointed.

If there is anybody that says that akhom rajjo has only one language called assamese, i refute that person’s communal stand. ACS aspirants ought to know that barak valley is an important part of the state where the speakers speak only bengali. Joi bhasha shaheed dibosh. Communalism is reason for backwardness of the state. It is killing the state. Stop the useless quarrels and learn to live with the various people of the state. Unity in diversity!
if you want to serve, if you are honest. ..if you know to treat everyone equally irrespective of his/her background I think language is no barrier….I have seen honest IAS officers who take no time in learning the local language
