APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. @PARI… last year ACS cut off for general 991….n 90 acs posts were there…this tym only 30 posts…so cut off may go high…1000 looks safe..

how much average marks one can except in interview? last year 119 lowest interview marks
@skud yes history is lengthy but again it’s upto your interest I believe.one can complete that within 3 months.i don’t think coaching is necessary(personal opinion though).I dint take coaching as I am working and stay out of town.i read C.N rao books for socio.

How safe is the History optional?……can it be completed within 3 months for a working professional who gets only Saturday and Sunday to devote for study? …..can coaching be helpful?…..kindly guide as you are having History as one of the optionals where I suppose you must have scored better……
Did you take any coaching for Sociology?…..could you provide the name of the books you have been following?….
Yes last time I faced interview but couldn’t get into the final list.my optionals were history and sociology.this time too it’s the same.i don’t remember exactly but I got less than 100 in socio 1(84 I guess) and 103 in socio 2.little worried about socio marks.what you people think?socio guys? Though we can’t compare with last time I guess.
