The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:

That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. I have been reading the comments of my frns since 1 mnth regarding the court’s verdict,which may b the possible delay of our result..But in my opinion this may nt b the reason as the candidate was allowd to appear the Mains exam the chapter was closed..nw regarding court’s verdict…what is the reason that it will interupt..lets guess Will the court scrap the Apsc 2013 CCE exam ?Will it call 4 new Mains exam?Will it give stay order?Nw i dnt think Court will give any of the option coz Candidate is declard as Mains candidate nd appeard exam as well so what hearing we are discussing about…in my logic delay due to court’s hearing is smthing unreasonble.Instead Interviews of Various dpartmental exams like cotton college lecturers etc may b the reason.nw since all interviews are ovr..we cn expect our result followd by interview dates vry soon..all the best.
Duke bro..I totally understand.. I guess You misinterpreted my comment..last two comments didn’t include yours :)
And you lawyer friend’s articulation is correct..By the way,don’t say friend turned lawyer..it sounds like he was your friend before,but he is not now as he has become a lawyer…it suits with the phrases like lawyer turned politician, public servant turned actor etc
@prithwi Rajkhowa ‘my friend -turned lawyer (a APSC aspirant) is not working in Guwahati high court whatever he articulated might be personal view point as a lawyer it was just his anticipation not a claim.
Going to ignore last two comments…:)
If there is any lawyer or friend who is lawyer and is working at ghy High court, please follow (or ask friend to follow) the hearing of the two cases in ujjal bhuyan bench on 28th January and update us..

Guys’ verdict in this case may be expected within 7 days to 15 days(as per the statement made my friend -turned lawyer)’but it will depend upon how seriously the APSC lawyer try to consult the matter with Guwahati High court and the smartness of interpretation of law by APSC lawyer in its favour.

@Monica
I spoke to the PC personally when I went to the APSC office for submitting the CC 2014 Main Examination Application Form.
@Prithvi
Why do you need further study for the Viva? Whatever you know at present, I think that will be sufficient for it.
I have heard that the interview will be held immediately after the results and there won’t be any time to study..is that correct?
@ admin
Many times when I have tried to open this site in mobilephone it shows a message “Blocked” .
Pls look into d issue
Dear friends,
I talked to the principal controller of examination while going to submit the mains form.. According to him it should be out by Feb 1st week.. since its a piece of first hand information from the man who is responsible for declaring the mains results I thought I should share it with you anxious guys..
@animesh,
u personally spoke to d Controller or d msg was relayed to u?
Guys’nobody has a precise idea as to when the result is likely to declare .Everything is going just on guess-work.Nobody could rely on APSC officials about the tentative result declaration date as their remarks in this regard is confusing and full of contradictions as one says the result is likely to declare within January and another says result declaration date may go up to February mid .So friends have patience ‘sooner or later the result will declare and if u have already toiled well ur hard work will certainly bring pay off in ur favour and the success will surely kiss ur feet.
hey guys apsc result will come within this month. there is no problem for declaring result of the mains as i think. the court petition says that the final result will depend on the writ petition. but remember that declaring mains result is not final. final result means selection of candidate after interview. hope apsc understand.
@bd,
i think u r right.
