APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. @Babu, moi 2013 and 2014 , duibare viva appear hoisu.. 2013 ot Rakesh Paul and Basanta Doley loisile, 2014 ot Samedur Rahman. Iman prepare kori jau, sob answers o correctly diu, but Pisot he gom palu viva t anei mate..it’s just a formality.

I agree, 2013 list had the most fixed candidates. A petition filed before the Court is a welcome move. Please post updates on latest developments in this regard, if any.

@Rahul @Jitaranjana 2013 recruitment also deserves canellation. Much corruption occured there. Both 2013 and 2014 recruitment should be cancelled.

@ bandana. Length of the answers is not a crucial factor in scoring good marks in the cce mains. The important factor is your presentation n quality of the answers …..good quality answers will obviously fetch you satisfactory marks n you would definitely find your name in the final merit list.
I agree wd babu. In 2013 few candidates were not allowed to join but later on they were appointed through the backdoor without training just after one month of others joining. 11nov wl decide our future. If up, Karnataka, Punjab can take action why not assam. Remember Jimanei Lengthy hobo process himanei ami suffer korim.
Guys my papers were sociology and history attempted all in n around the word limit. In gs left 20 marks, Eng left 20 but tried to maintain the input n the vocabulary in the other answers. Can anybody help me wd the expected score plz.

@bandana. if ur answers r correct length does nt matter. only ur essays sud b long in eng. as per ur performance i bliv u sud score anythn between 850 to 900 with reasonable correction. dis wud put u in the toppers list. wht were ur optionals
Completed whole paper in GS and English and optionals as well this year. Answers are correct but not so long due to time.
