APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. Anyone with work experience in a Govt. dept will tell you that the ‘boss’ is only as good as his supporting officers. Going by this analogy, is it rather no unfortunate that Rakesh Paul and Mr Samedur are being made the ONLY poster boys of APSC corruption while the rot might very well go down to the last dealing assistant! My point here is that Govt. should focus on a compete over haul of the system at APSC, personnel included. Without this holistic step, the rot can be stemmed, but not eradicated.
Also, people are discussing about APSC-Broker, APSC-Political nexus. Why is the media and general populace silent on APSC-Coaching Centre & APSC-Teacher nexus!! There are senior professors who openly discuss Q&As at ‘specific’ coaching centres, questions that ultimately find their way into the question papers!! This is made possible because this ‘specific’ coaching centre employs teachers who are GS and Optional question setters. Supposed to be a secret right? This ‘secret’ is cashed upon with impunity year after year by these teachers.
As I said, the rot runs deep. Its going to be a long haul for the Govt. because for all I know, Rakesh Paul, being the head, was just the top part of a huge iceberg.

I am from a lower middle class family and a sole bread earner, sakori tu goley bahut Dukh pam. Akha korisu je dukhi gitae hasti tu paok along with humiliation.
How will this fiasco affect the upcoming exams. are the exams going to be postponed or will it be held on time. and its effect on the upcoming notification.

Question papers of 2015 were also leaked most probably..so don’t assume that d cut off wl b less.those appointed thru backdoor r lifted from the prelims itself.
I think if the marks in mains this time of 2015 exam remains unmanipulated then CUT OFF would be lower than earlier years. What do you think friends? How much ??

It is sure and certain that the entire Recruitment Exams and thereby appointments so far given within the tenure of the accused chairman APSC should be called in Question and a high level enquiry in this regard is indeed required and mandatory in each and every jobs for a fair investigation .

It is really an injustice with the vast majority of the candidates , their aspirations and faith who have given their exams in 2013 , 2014 and earlier also.
This is the right time for you all to be united and fight for the Bright and Curruption free Assam and to teach those culprits a lesson who have played such a known game with the meritorious youngsters of the state and thereby demoralized the Faith of future aspirants from the Assam’s Most respected and Coveted Body of the Government.
Let’s not think for past but for Future of Assam …

U r right…PMO is very responsive particularly issues relating to corruption..we should send as many letters as possible to pmo..plz share d link..
Instead of cancelling the entire list of 2013 and 2014 , I guess they should conduct a Special CCE only for those candidates who have cleared prelims of either 2013 or 2014 against the posts presently being held by the back door candidates.. this will give another fair chance to the aggrieved like us. Also I don’t know if APSC maintains a waiting list, please enlighten if it’s done so.

Just came to know from a group that PMO had recently acted swiftly after receiving a letter from an APSC aspirant..PMO had directed the Chief Secy to enquire and send a report..seems authentic as d newd was published in the Amar Asom..so lets spare just a few minutes..write a letter to PMO narrating the whole incident including the seizure of copies..it will surely work..if a single letter was responded..50/100 letters wl surely b enough to direct the state govt to take stern action against those so called bureaucrats of 2013& 2014 batch.

@James & @Pitt….what we r talking abt is like identifying good terrorism nd bad terrorism. Let me tell u guys….there are basically 2 ways to get into APSC list. First is to pay money fully from prelims to Interview nd other is to pay money only during Interview….How can someone score 186 out of 200 in interview. So it is better to take initiative to cancell the whole xam during Pal tenure. Make a group….will contribute in legal expense….
