APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. @unemplyed nice information…..I just want to add a point that all d optionals were not that easy…..say for example history paper II And moreover some papers like sociology is least scoring …..so one cannot assume that papers were easy…..

2014 mains Gen Cutoff was 739(its official), I think this yr gen cut off will be same, may be 10 or 20 mrks more. As this time optional was vry easy & GS & G.Eng was also easy but lenghty, those who attempt full GS & Eng. They hv great chance to score btwn 820-840, surely ARS & ACS wil be in their kitty & whoever whatever says but at least 200 apsc vacancies is about to come in nov-Dec. So guyz keep on study, rumour monger will try to demotivate you all.

Who on earth told u dat new ad ll come ftr 3-4 years!! Every year 20-30 no. of acs aps retire which essentially create same no. of vacancies…Clear ur facts before posting n b logical..u r going to b a civil servant. Who can tell u dat 3-4 years. One may say dat not in 3-4 months. If govt decide to speed up d vacancies in 2017 itself ,they may also create new vacancy according to their need..

Etia question barhise in comparison to 2013.My friend Susovan Das who scored 78% in Economics in 2013 got 68% in Economics in economics in 2015. But he got selected in 2015

Q. Is Indian constitution is ragbag of borrowing?
My view. No, it right we borrowed from different constitution but we modified acc with our use.. Ex Parliamentary system taken from UK but we modified it in our system parliament not sovereign.. Like wise answering..
Some saying answer should be yes… Then write down source of borrowing, what we borrowed..

Last year both gs and english paper were not very scoring as people say dont know how far its true .this year how u guys find the english paper wasnt it tough?
