The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. For views and opinion related to APSC civil services exam, don’t forget to view this APSC 2013 discussion page.
@ all belligerent individuals. This forum has been turned into some kind of wrestling ring where professional wrestlers often engage in a verbal fight before a actual bout………infact in our midst we even have the great wwe superstar John cena (albeit a pseudo name) …………….guys please put a halt to this irrelevant bickering. Since we all have a diverse mindset n background it is but natural to have differences of thought n opinion amongst us…….. but it doesn’t justify that we spoil one whole beautiful day by squabbling on petty issues which r devoid of any significance. ………… so friends let’s stop quarrelling over the trivial matters n start some meaningful discussions n topics.
When someone fails to give counterargument he always talks bullshits.

He is phd holder in English from Oxford university, but he didn’t use “to” word in btwn “used” and “get” & giving lectures on English. Typo error in mobile is nt big thing, specially in smart phone. And when Someone doesn’t have counter argument, he always talks bullshit… understand hypocrite.

Urgent need to divide obc into creamy and non creamy layer even at state level like centre , otherwise many deserved candidate will become victim of reservation policy!!!
For example candidate with score 264 in 2014 prelims not qualified for mains but 240 score obc candidate qualified !!
Also general r also poor like obc who under non creamy layer . Why no reservation of these general candidate ? Like obc candidate
Kisuman ase mains clear hole. Apsc r against t aku nokoi. They keep quite mum, but when they don’t get selected in final merit list. Oh my god, gat r pora ulai ahe & says apsc ghus loi sakori dia, apsc is corrupt body, chairman corrupt, members corrupt & blah blah blah & jibur a selection pabo, though rejected candidates don’t knw them personally, but they wil 100% surely say that selected candidates aku najane, murot gobor they take job by giving bribe, if selected candidates parents are rich that doesn’t mean that selected candidates are dumb. Some peoples criticised, Apsc ghus loi sakori dia & those peoples at the same time also preparing for apsc exam. The perfect example of hypocracy. Jodi 241 vacancy t ghus r babe particular candidates a selection pua nai, this time only 124 vacancy, with the same principle of 2013 this time particular candidates wil not have any chance. So give up apsc exam as U said I already got one post by giving ghus & I think mur nisina aru 123 candidates 124 vacancy t selection pabo. You wasting your valuable time & energy.

@storm, to avail relaxation & reservation under obc category you will have to get a non creamy layer certificate… If I am not wrong this is issued from the office of the deputy commissioner(not sure)… A OBC candidate will belong to Creamy Layer, if his/her parents combined earnings are 6 lakh rupees (Rs. 6,00,000/-) and above, for a period of three consecutive years. Otherwise, the candidate falls under NON Creamy Layer.
@golmaal can u plz add a little more on obc creamy non creamy layer thing. well i fall into the category of creamy layer obc( parents retired) here upsc gonna take me as general candidate? should i go for a noncreamy layer certificate? next year upsc prelims in june and mains by october iam attempting for 2018 2019…
@Golmal..totally right bro.. Anyone have any idea about final result 2015?
