The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.

APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:

Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Date of APSC 2013 Main results:

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. @Bd…where the earth do you live in.. have not you come across the past news of so many court cases against APSC.. The merit list of 2006 examination was squashed by the honorable GUWAHATI high Court as there were names of undeserving candidates in the merit list.. I find it fishy when someone takes things personally in a public forum that too for APSC who has done nothing significant to improve its tarnished & murky image..I think you are among those ‘talented’ candidates who have already cleared mains & perhaps interview.. Good luck my friend.. Have a great life..

  • @Bd,
    So, you think we are giving incorrect info? OK fine! That’s your point of view. But accusing us of not giving any correct information is wrong. Just ask yourself once. It is a free and open website. We are not forcing anyone to use this site. And if you don’t like it here, why you are here in the first place?

    What we said about the results was based on 100% fact. But we never intended to lower anyone’s morale.

  • @kristi your hard work doesnt go in vain u r d apsc main aspirant n u came by ur hard work not by any ilegal means so kip believness on urself this side doent give u any correct information .some guys alawya try to put negative impact just by creating rumour n hampering ur study.all d best n kip preparing for d viva.dont stuck in dis group make some good friends it will work for u

  • @Enthusuastic, sameer & kristi,
    Yes, some candidates get their results early. We already wrote that in reply to Kristi. Obviously the results came from insiders. That’s the sad truth.

    @Sourav,

  • Enthusiastic on

    APSC is so transparent that many ‘talented’ candidates know their results beforehand. I am not feeling very optimistic and enthusiastic for those like me who are not that ‘talented’… Congrats to those who falls into that ‘ talented’ category..
