APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. @ankur sorry for the inconvenience caused. I just happen to admire this character from the watchmen. Never mind…DAF as in detailed application form. Before upsc interview candidates are asked to fill one. So was wondering.
But how will they know what our hobbies or past experiences are? In mains form we did not fill such particulars.

I can share several similar incident like this. Interviwe namot loi. Sob pisot viva marks + – kore. UPSC e dudin pisot final list out kore,karon upsc e viva marks loge loge diye according to d merrit of d candidate, kintu APSC e dumah man loi. Karon dam dor soli thake. Iyat bahut khel ase. Inerviwe bhal ba beyar uporot viva marks depend nokore. Interviwe bhal holeu beya marks jene 110-120/200 pabo para ba beya holeu bhal marks jene 150-160 pabo para. Njor experiencr pora koisu.Wen my intrviwe went really well, i got very poor marks(119/200 becausse few more marks ll confirm my selection), and when my interviwe went poor i got 168/200 n missed final list by 3 marks. They know everything, who got how much in mains and accordingly they allot marks.This happens in around 60-70% cases,30-35% obviously merritot pai. Kintu coveted post bilak jene acs,aps,dto,tax n exice suptnt etc. maximum apsc e back door edi diye. Jar mainsor score for genrl 950 obc 900 st 880 man pabo teuluke without link coveted post almost sure pabo lage irrespective of viva marks.

A simple suggestion. On the day of your interview, please don’t gossip around. Last time, I was talking to my nearest guy (now ACS) & he pointed me towards a fellow candidate, who he said was the wife of a builder and is certain to get ACS/ APS. I don’t know how he knew so much about this lady. Afterwards, that lady came to talk to this guy and before interview itself, she was laughing around and joking. She said that she only wanted ACS & nothing else. I m sorry to say but she didn’t seem bright. And I made sure to remember her name. She got APS ..
