APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. I don’t think there needs to be such panic regarding the apsc interview,after all this is not upsc and they won’t ask alien topics,just refresh major topics from your graduation,a few current general topics and a confident voice will take you through.But i repeat it’s the mains marks that helps you more and unless you fumble during interview saying that obama is your grandfather!

Last batch the trend was exhotrbitant marks either in GS or GE or above 185 to 191marks in viva. (Com on 191 marks what did you vomit in viva?
Most candidates scored very poor marks in thoery papers it’s just their parents and husbands money saved them to secure posts.
Last time it Broke my heart. But still trying again and again

@lonely in assam history there are number of kings frm Mahiranga danava to Purandar singha & lots of other supporting official in their kingdom. All these kingdoms did something gud fr assam, which we study in assam history & i think bcoz of all these kingdoms of assam, assam history is one of the most interesting history in d world.
What about introduction of Assam I mean precisely history of Assam

Q. Why U want to be a civil servant?
Ans:: Most of people think including me that the reason of underdevelop assam is the negative attitude of some civil servants towards social welfare work of the public in general in assam. But I think criticize the system from outside is easy, so I want to enter the civil service system of assam & want to do something exceptional reform work in this field & want to set a pecedent fr next generation to join civil service for welfare work & at the same time trying my best to change the perception of the public in general towards this service, who criticize the civil service system. This is my first time viva, guys correct my answer, if anything wrong.
Water crisis and need of a ground water use policy etc……i am from engineering background.now a days internal brain drain is in news.lot of people are objecting about it…..so guys from engg or science background…..prepare a good answer……what ever skill u earn u have to serve ur society but the way in which u serve it depends upon u.we do have a choice….and I believe civil service needs more talented youth now.because it is not only about collecting revenue or maintaining law and order now in this tech savvy world if someone comes from a technical background it can be an added advantage…..he or she can serve in a more efficient way…all these but we need to utter these in a more concrete and structured way
Doing good for the society helping people all these are very common answer.we need something more and I am still searching for it.
I was asked about IR and foreign affairs Las time .moreover Assam history quick intro about ur place etc are also important….i am telling u this time lot of good and merrtious students have qualified.so PI is very important……ghy guys if possible we can sit in a place and discuss and post all these in this forum so that others can get help

If u have to say about Assam say history in some 10-12 lines what will u say???? Describe problems of Assam quickly and some probable solutions……..climate change and effects in Assam.we all know all these but we need better preparation to answer them precisely and in a solid manner…….energy sector which is causing climate change transportation sector etc solar energy and prospects in Assam.all these.
We know all the answer but to answer a question in PI we need to be very precise so need preparation in the form of discussion.we have already wasted a lot of time in unnecessary discussion and meaningless speculation. This is the high time.if not now then when?????
But morons like u don’t understand.u people are here to enjoy the meaningless conversations.to reach at something precise and good is not ur cup of tea.if u have nothing to say about PI discussion then keep quite.at least there will be one person who is interested in such discussions.current affairs can be answered but HR questions are very important because they highlight the attitude and personality.In some 20-30 time if u have to project ur best then u need preparation.that’s why i asked this question.and this is not the only question there are lot more.if anybody interested then i will share .other wise I don’t have time for motherfuckers like you..
My brother is not ACS.and what I asked is a question.everyone has his or her own reason but to say something in apsc PI u need something very precise and solid.i have my own answer but if a better one comes in front of me then I will definitely go for the better one….after all a good answer comes from discussion and listening to some good talks.
