APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.

APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:

Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Date of APSC 2013 Main results:

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. • @Tushar,
Don’t expect to get your answer sheets within 30 days! The whole process involves various formalities and unnecessary delays. The Rs. 10 IPO is not enough. But they don’t say that while accepting the RTI application. Instead, they will send you a letter directing you to submit a lump sum amount. The amount, which is around Rs. 400, can be submitted through any state treasury or deposited directly in the APSC office. They will give you the answer sheets, but only after receiving that money.

TIP! Few days after submission of your application, contact them (either personally or via phone) and ask about the status of your application. Repeat the same after few days. Confirm the amount to be submitted and deposit the same as soon as possible. Contact them again.

  • @sameer…the govt has only done a nominal job by constituting an one man enquiry committee to console the public keeping in view the election next year..the committee will at best make some recommendations n the govt will sit on the report for years …the matter is so grave that unless it is entrusted with cbi nothing can happen…

But my conscience does not take much time to realize my mistake. I don’t hesitate to say sorry to anyone if I am really wrong. Wish u too success in life. Goodnight

  • @rinko. Talked to a very knowledgeable person about apsc enquiry. Was astonished to know what he thinks about the slow process. Its called delay tactics & Buying time. After so much protest one man enquiry committee was formed which didn’t have much power to enquire a constitutional body like apsc. It was a blind shot to see if it might calm the media and the protesters. When that didn’t happen the report which was submitted on 15th July is left unattended for a few days.

Then again an announcement was made regarding the formation of an one man committee. Remember, the official hand over of the case is still pending like it was the case with the subhas Das committee who denied receiving any formal communication from the CM. same tactics would be applied again.

Lets not forget he has the power to hand over the case directly to the CBI. but he won’t do that in a hurry. Again Reason being delay tactics and buying time. He would check if his second attempt can pacify the protesters or not.. So CBI enquiry is a distant possibility as of now. But ultimately he will have to. The only question is ‘when’.

There is a reason for employing this delay tactics for buying time and hurrying up the joining process. They don’t want to return the money that had changed hands. They would wish if at all the merit list should get scrapped, it should happen only after joining formalities are over & the candidates are absorbed by the respective departments. That way their responsibilities end at that point of time.

So the gist of the long story is that paisa dubibor time lahe lahe ahi goise. Only question is “ketiya dubiba” aru “kar kiman dubiba” :-)

  • @sameer
Eibar kiba eta habai. List scrapp huwatu bhal. Kintu main kotha hol culprits bor jail t jaba nai. List cancel hole hardly 50 jon man deserving candidates r loksan haba. Kintu cancel nohole Axomar crore population r loksan haba. We need honest and brave officers. Subhash Das sir r honest officer hisape name ase. We want officers like him. I know some senior officers who are really brilliant and even after having a rotten political system our system is running just because of those honest officers
I feel the next examination should be conducted by UPSC? The Indian constitution provides for such option. What do you think?

  • Bohut hol kaajia pesal…does anybody have any idea regarding the declaration of result of Cce mains2015??
