The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. For views and opinion related to APSC civil services exam, don’t forget to view this APSC 2013 discussion page.
@prasanta, u have d right to go for judiciary if u feels u were deprived by d concerned authority. I hv nothing to say. Our constitution allow it. Law will take its own course.

I am well determined to fight the legal battle. Already paid advocate. I dont know what will be its consequence. But I am happy to fight for justice.
I dont have lots of free time to comment on this forum.
So good bye to all.

Its OK Sameer, I know ur grievances. U r also one of the most deserved candidate who could not clicked this time with enthu. I have read your marks.I think u will definitely clear dis time. My best wishes…
@jadu nath, sorry bro I have never said all in the list are corrupt. So many times in this forum I have appreciated people like dinchengfa, Arup, ajit Phukan and so many. I am not biased like you. I also said the genuine guys shouldn’t suffer because of the corrupt guys. The question is of corruption. It was not & it will not be a question of I, me and myself. Grow up man.
@Prasanta, if u r not happy with ur current selection than try next, that’s the spirit (Remember FAIL means ” first attempt in learning “). This time Rakesh Chetry got his selection in ACS, he was earlier selected in allied service, bt didn’t join. So do have faith in yourself.
@prasanta, hahahaha fati goise keitamanar. Majar kathatu tetia haba jetia sakori join karar pasat court r list scrap karar order ahiba. Tetia dalal keitai paisau ghurai nidiye :-)
@jadu nath we are frustrated because we didn’t clear CCE like the so called toppers.
But I wonder what has led to the frustration of the whole print & electronic media. I also don’t understand why former IAS officers of Assam are frustrated with APSC. Why personalities like Homen Borgohain is frustrated? I don’t have answer to that too.. Why was IAS Tapan Lal Baruah’s recommendations were not implemented?
Probably these so called genuine meritorious can answer these questions..
Don’t show crocodile’s tears for new aspirants. Firstly they are not fools who don’t understand the plight of apsc. Secondly tomorrow they will be deprived by the same scandals..
Why are you speaking in favour of APSC we all understand. No need to act innocent
@sameer, except u all are D category candidates who have cleared CC Main2013 & there is no value for others hard work except u. All hv qualified bcoz of their wealth. OK , so pity of u!
@sameer
Scared….karobar bhoi lagise. Ki bhabise amak. Eta post o undeserved ye pale moi join nakaru.
The so called frustrated guys u are only teaching the new aspirants how much they will have to invest in terms of wealth to be a civil servant or how to SCRAP THE LIST by conteneously shouting it in d forum rather fullfilling their thirst for knowledge. You guys are solely responsible for ruining this wonderful forum.
@jadu nath, who are the toppers & their hard work are you talking about? The one who has criminal cases against his name, or the sons & kins of mla & ministers?
Why is apsc not replying RTI of most of the deprived candidates?
People are demanding for justice. What is the harm in that? R u a doubtful case yourself? Are you a ‘D’ category?
@prasanta well said. We have spoiled the platform. But they have spoiled the whole system. Let the admin decide who is the bigger threat.
Some guys are conteneously trying to hurt the sentiment of the 2013 toppers by posting hilarious comments. If u hesitate to recognize their true spirit & perseverance by dint of which they have succeeded to achieve their desired goal, then why will they come to this forum wasting their valuable time?
Eta exm napaote emn gaat lagise ne. Akou diba ..amiyu dim. bankr exm bur eman taan nohoi sectionl wise and over all cut off bhal hobo lage. Maths bhal hobo lage. State exms r difrnt… u hav to write a lot..

What a joke. Okay we ruined this site. But some people ruined the whole system. Block us. We will raise our voice in some other platform. I have full faith in our judiciary. It may take some time but truth always triumphs.
It is not a personal matter. The loopholes in our system create such havocs. We should fight against such injustice.
