APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)

APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.

APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.

APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:

Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Date of APSC 2013 Main results:

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date.     2. Sob candidator eta subject aru hokolure viva target korise.Total 600 marks manipulation korise..i.e enough for them to make their own list.
    3. Vivat marks diyar eku criteria nai jibure mains besi paise(after all d manipulation in mains) hehotok vivat bahut kom dise.
    4. Jibure mains kunumote pass korise(after all d manipulation in mains) hehotok vivat besi dise (calculation kori dise jate napai)
    So APSC R nisina corrupt institution eku nai I ll f.$$$$….. all d mrmbers..i hv given viva third time…hare himojue sini paisu

    @enthusiastic,i am shocked to read your marks,a person who scores 200 plus in g english and gs can’t get 3o-40 marks in socio ,And 60 in viva is ruthless,please raise your voice bro,you are cheated as hell,tomorrow there is a press meet at 11 a.m in ganeshguri with apw,apsc and high court,do join and teach the culprits a lesson.call 9854007867,apw.

    Hi friends, hope you all are giving your best for the ensuing mains..

    Bandhu ejane aji marks keita uliale.. Tomalukar lagat share karisu.. English – 201, GS – 230, History – 110 & 120, Sociology – 39 & 41, Viva – 60..

    On a lighter note let share my father’s opinion on my viva performance..it goes like this…

    “baperar murtu viva disili.. Saboke ‘spoken english’ hikai nije toi vivat bhalke english t uttar eta dibo nuarile tuk kune marks dibo.. Eibar nervous nakaribi.. ”

    Mur huja deutar reaction dekhi montu beya lagi gol..bhabilu era pai ajir dui nombori prithibitu deutar nisina manuh kamke haleu ase.. Etia bhabisu eibaru akou ‘nervous’ hoi vivat kam marks napautu ?

    Even though optional subject wise marks would differ,there must be some level playing field,giving 60-70 marks in sociology is utter nonsense,this thing totally foils the chances.

    @Pranjal,u r right.total manipulation if marks.i got 98 in gs!! and 147 in sociology.GS marks is unbelievable.i can challenge that.i have never felt the impact of corruption personally the way this exam has impacted..these fellows should be hanged till death..

    I hv writen mains three times wid viva…got copies of answer sheets two times n believe me u cant predict ur numbers at all. There is no standardisation of checking papers…actually teachers r paid so less n dont take dis seriously..i m frustrated
