Twenty two (22). Assam state of Indian has a total of 22 Krishi Vigyan Kendras. The first KVK in the state was established in Napam near Tezpur. Subsequently 21 other KVKs were established in different locations of Assam. List of KVKs in Assam: Napam, Shillongani, Nazira, Karimganj, Khumtai, Gossaigaon, Silchar, Sarbaherua, Tinsukia, Kahikuchi, North Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Diphu, Bongaigaon, Howly, Nalbari, Dudhnoi, Dhubri, Hailakandi, Kaliapani, Darrang and Dibrugarh.

    Three new kvks were established in 2014 at Morigaon, Bongaigaon and Baksa. So the total is 25 kvks

    Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat 785013 and
