APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. | Scheduled Tribe (Hills) | 847 | 846 | 871 | No vacancy | 762 | No vacancy |
The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. Result also may go beyond 16th but it will not cross 23rd. ..

As per source. .
Everyone waiting for the final result is naturally going to be anxious but by discussing it everyday/every hour you are only increasing your anxiety. So try to relax, if possible. Think of other things, engage yourself in other things.
Interview for CCE 2009 was held from 18 JAN 2013 to 14 FEB 2013 and the final result was out on 26 APR 2013. So you can calculate the time for this year’s result. Although commission claims to have speeded up it’s procedure’s so that full recruitment cycle is complete within 16-18 months but ground reality is quite different.
Only 241 will be successful the rest will have to appear in mains’14.
Called on 5426,they said that they the date is confidential and they have no idea of it.
My guess is that in case of any major meeting they get to know else evrything else is guesswork.

@arup. You are indeed doing a good job, my friend. Carry on your work; it was just my opinion from a tired mind. I firmly believe we are one big family with the same goal – service to the State.
Essentially, my idea was that if feasible, one should have a forum solely dedicated for mains preparation. That makes the study more streamlined.
Anyway, best of luck to all and other friends. Henceforth, I will never comment in this forum; so peace and love. Akha koru hunkale log paam soboke :)

@himadri… i understand ur frustration… u once asked how can i concentrate amidst so much of frustrations? very simple… i’m preparing for another apsc round for 2 things…if i not get selected…2nd, even if i get an allied service, i’ll again write mains for ACS… as simple as that… for ur kind information, all these topics r already covered by me b4 interview… i’m posting these topics here assuming that atleast some1 from this forum will be benefitted… i just believe one thing, ‘whatever i do may turn insignificant in the end, but what is important is that i’ve done it’, which very few r doing in this forum so far. free advice to u,don’t mind… take everything positively… ‘be positive’… otherwise success will definitely start distancing from u…some1 rightly said, ‘avoid negative people. they have problems to every solution’… anyway, wish u success….
