The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. Aamar kaka deuta hokole koise- People with good background don’t brag abt their achievements in open forums. As they say, full vessels don’t make much sound.
And we all know how good an employer Infy is..after all, it has consistently been topping the list of IT companies with the highest attrition rates.
And for everyone else in this forum- working for US client/ working offshore in US is not a big deal in IT industry. Every other guy from any xyz college does it. Most importantly, all you need to do is- maska ur manager day in and day out.
I have the result sheet of 2009-2013 exam which contains the written marks and interview marks.
It may come as a surprise to many of the super confident people in this forum, but only 5 people crossed 900 in mains last time. The scores are 984, 978, 919, 919 and 914. I know two of them personally. And as far as I know, they did had optionals like Education, Pol Sc, Sociology etc.
And guys, any guesses how many were between 850-900 last time? Only 5- 891, 865, 864, 863, 862.
Guys, what can be the number of candidates crossing 900 and in between 850-900 this time? (considering the fact that cutoff has increased from 680 to 766 in mains this time)
eklavya is a bit good may be.
Kunubai muk acs best coaching centre in ghy nam kabo neki baru.. Fees aru duration kiman? Can I opt for individual subject? Is it really helpful?
I hate akhil Gogoi :-)
@din please accept my sincere apology for the mistaken identity.. Ya my confidence has nothing to do with my real name.. Even if I don’t get ACS I would gracefully accept it publicly with my real name.
well frnds let the result speaks.ad per sources there have been regular meeting of the board members .
It seems people in this forum have problem with confident people.. Someone also mentioned his expected score as 920.. Nobody has doubted his score or ability even once.. Why everyone is questioning me..
@raghav…I mentioned “excludin interview/viva marks”…and this article mentions only the final cut offs “which includes viva marks”
@raghab….lol…I am not really a bro….female you see….and din is my real name…almost everyone who knows me knows me by this name…shorter version of dinchengfa. …and you still did not answer my question. …..with your real name, would you be still equally confident. …..??? you may choose not to answer this. …but at least ask yourself. …
@prabhat pegu.. Yes it was scoring.. Otherwise i might not have cleared mains as if you have noticed my scores in my earlier comments.. GS only 140.. So it has to be CS which pulled me through.. How about your expectations?
perhaps mr rahman have himself told me in the interview that computerscience subjects are hard to score with respect to other subjects.
@sam.. The marks that you have mentioned were the cut off marks.. Courtesy :this article in this website
@raghav…i have no doubt about ur talent i have also cleared the gate way back in 2012 neithr i m shying away frm cse.my only point was that this subject r that scoring like that of the traditional ones.
@din
Agree with u
If sum1 is confident to share so many details bout his achievements and such a grt expected score sharing name should not be a problem
@din.. Let it be a matter of choice regarding using names.. And on a lighter note bro even you are not using your real name :-)
I am confident but not overconfident. I openly admitted GS to be my achilles heel.. Like I always say & believe there is always room for improvement in all of us..
yes i m frm nit silchar.
