The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. For views and opinion related to APSC civil services exam, don’t forget to view this APSC 2013 discussion page.
In 2014 CCE mains GS paper ws easy as well as GE. Still 80 candidates got 800 above & we all knw many of them had R.paul’s blessing. This tym GS bit tough & GE bit lengthy, so less candidates wil score 800 above. If one thinking he/she wil score 800 above, that doesn’t mean that candidate wil surely score 800 above.
many candidates are expecting 800 plus…it wont b easy for OC boys to get ACS…830 in mains if evaliation standard is similar to previous years could only fetch ACS…990 in mains plus viva is safe..
Cutoff will remain the same this time too. Those three arrested confessed that some of the candidates got the question paper in advance during 2015 mains too.
question papers were being supplied in advance to some during 2015 apsc mains too as confessed by those three arrested. So some gonna secure more marks and cutoff will be same high.
@ukd Cutoff 820/1400 For ACS (OC) is utterly impossible. Last tym GS ws vry easy, GE ws also easy & optionals were also easy except few. This tym GS bit tough, GE bit lengthy & optionals were same standard as last tym. Last tym against 180 post OC cutoff ws 739. So I think this tym though 124 post, but OC cutoff wil same as last tym or 10(+)(-). 800/1400 will easily get first preference post.
Also, we haven’t heard anything concrete from new chairman i/c yet. People are raising the issue of delay in the editorial section of Assam Tribune. But there is no reply from APSC. Era of pro activeness seems to be faded away with the departure of Barthakur sir!
Anyway interview isn’t gonna commence from 22nd May as per the schedule. JE (Civil) irrigation interview is there from 15th May to 26th May.
I think 800 is more than enuf to clear ACS
There would be no declaration of results till September.
