APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. @Dark Night, I dont’, know so much, but one thing sure there will be meeting among kitchen cabinet on Monday for future course of action
I personally know Minerva, controller’s daughter and Ankita Bora the topper. Both could have somehow cleared but none had calibre to be in top. 2014 and 2013 exams must be cancelled. Also some officers of Apsc office must be prosecuted. Without help of officers like controller, asst controller, members couldn’t have induled in such Deep corruption
@anuraag are you sure new chairman will be appointed by monday?? will it be one of the existing member acting as chairman-incharge or will Rakesh Paul will be removed and new person will be appointed by Governor??
@all, all the aspirants should gather to plan for the next course of action bcose ..I was betrayed very badly in CCE 2013..inspite of my correct answer in maths they put all cross marks …and keep me out of contest out of contest..I m belong to STP.
On Monday, Govt will decide on next chairman. So now the new chairman will be appointed by new govt. so new advt will be around the corner

& really feeling bad for the unfortunate ones of earlier exams, they must do something to get their right. & the undeserving candidates are equally at fault & must be discharged & prosecuted.
@Bandana , I have missed 2013 list by 3 marks. I will go with your 2nd option. I know some genuine candidate getting allied post, but later one of them selected by UPSC.
Two things
Either cancel the whole list of 2013 and 2014 and conduct re exam of those candidates
Or cancel all the bribe giving candidates and give those posts to genuine candidates from the merit list of 2013 and 2014.
The later is better.

A Copy of mains 2014 found its confirmed 200% at his residence . Single candidate copy (original) with invigilator signature and the duplicate copy without a signature same handwriting
The person who got arrested in dibrugarh had confessed all his dealings with pal , candidates buror nam hote loise both doing service and trainees :-) I think it’s enough evidence to scrap the list also govt gave green signal to proceed for interrogation .
To controller beti tumar jodi dom ase simple 4th grade job clear kori dekhua in single attempt fokotia smartness bht dekhala in coaching centres (this case another reason which is coming up live , xm controller didn’t step down in when mains was conducted.
Very sad for those candidates who work day night, n some taking foreign tours just a months left for mains n u get into top 20 ..
