APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:

Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Date of APSC 2013 Main results:

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. • @apsc hope tahate check kore aru!! Tarmane, jodi kiba karonot blank page thaki jai, then check nkoribo na? Because we can’t rely on the invigilators. Please, kaile apsc office ‘t phone kori hudhiba na…. moiu hudhibo paru, but mur bhoi lage…..

  • Those who don’t put cross mark in last page of answer sheet, invigilator easily find out from rest.. They don’t check all candidate paper.. Inside… they Just check last page.. If u not done they do as invigilator told me . After one exam I saw that they doing this..

  • @apsc did you specifically mention your roll number and asked the invigilator to do the cross? Or they personally look into each copy to put the cross? There are almost 200-300 students in the hall. I doubt whether they look knto each copy..

There are many such who have done this mistake. I know personally some of them. Bt will d invigilator put cross marks in each n every answer sheet? Afraid to think

  • Me 2 left blank not crossed! But ask exam investigator abt it. He says me don’t worry we will do cross mark, you will not be disqualified..

  • Anybody else left their blank pages uncrossed? Please comment so tgat we can discuss something or contact apsc.

  • One can not claim innocence and say that their copies must be evaluated.Allegedly and as media reported leaving blank pages was an old malpractice and so modifications were made by APSC to cross blank sheet. Please refer to point 5 in instructions to candidates in bold issued many days before the exam started.Someone could have gone to Chief controller before the exam started as crossing also consumes time from the 3 hours allowed to write the answers. Now the ball is in APSC’s court. But for all intents and purposes the answer sheets SHOULD BE EVALUATED.

I think we should immediately contact to apsc exam controller/ Apsc official otherwise all labour will go in vain

  • I think those who have nt crossed d blank pages should write to Apsc exam controller/ contact him immediately so dt many lives can be saved. Otherwise all effort, labour will go in vain if copies remain unchecked. I did d same mistake on English paper.

  • @bandana, why the teachers at duty will cross the pages? They won’t. It will remain as it is.

  • Thanks @prabhat
I really hope that it is checked. Fingers crossed.
