APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. @raghab, you have achieved a lot at a very young age… That’s the beauty of IT sector…. They pay unbelievable salary…. Add to that the salary you earn in dollars & pounds while you work in their on site locations abroad….. That’s why you could buy a 3 bhk flat which must be around 80 lakhs atleast…. The down payment to buy such a costly property must be around 20 lakhs….. Now you will again be paid in dollars for two years….this is going to be huge money bro… Feeling greedy :-) actually I have been always jealous of my friends who are working in big IT companies..

Bro , why r u wasting your valuable time n energy by working as a mere employee in a private bank ( as per your information) ?…….on the contrary since you r so adept at blowing your own trumpet , you can hv a great career ahead as a politician ( most probably a notorious one) ……..n who knows one day you might get a berth in the union cabinet ministry or may be the most powerful man of the country I.e the prime minister …..try to ponder over it…. best of luck .

Civil servantok salary govt revenuer pora diye,mostly earned from taxes.Companye salary profitor pora diye, higher d profit higher ll b ur salary..Governmente heneke salary dibo nuare,govt is not run by profit making motive.

Golmaal congratulations bro… This is some achievement I must tell you……. I have so many friends who are mechanical engineers & they tell me how tough the technical interviews of Mercedes company are….. And they re-assure themselves about your technical knowledge by conducting multiple rounds of interview…. I have heard that the interview panel consists of senior engineers with 15-20 years of experience & subject matter experts from IIT s…… That’s why they offer such a hefty salary package…… Is it around 20 lakhs? I have seen their job advertisements in newspaper(accent, times of India)… Hope you realise your dreams………

Good to hear dat u r doing well. I agree dat if someone enters civil service to earn black money dan its worthless being a civil servant.But if he has a clear mindset to work for d society,than he can surely make a difference by not indulging in corruption,being a part of d depelopment process,by helping d neediest one. Salary is a issue,but expect dat it ll change according to d changing demand. U perhaps know dat as u hv stayed in U.S , police in U.S is highly paid,so dat they dnt involve in corruption. It is also true dat hoping only for apsc is not at all d only option,all candidates should have other options like u n golmal..
@ankur, joined HSBC infotech & they are sending me to US for 2 years next month……. Earlier I was sent for 6 months…….. Very happy with my job…… Putting up lots of hard work & accordingly I am rewarded……. No backdoor policy…….. As a techie hope I can be a part of the world class development team of Google someday…….. Most importantly whatever I am earning is all white money…… With God’s grace 2 months back I brought a 3 bhk flat in a posh area in Pune…….and I am not even 29 :-)

Kintu eibar eku axha nai… System tu ekebarei thik nahoi… Heyehe napau buliye dhari loisu.. 2 bar mains clear karibole parhute aru lagate engineering r technical interview r karone parhute mur abastha kahil hoi goisile… I think I am more inclined towards the brand name of Mercedes-Benz.. :-) honestly kam karibole chance pam.. Internationally acclaimed engineers/seniors burar lagat kam kari kiman j natun technical katha hikibole pam.. Civil servant hoi janu mone bisara mote kam karibole pam? So called ‘upar alar’ pressure janu nathakibo? Mur babe angur tanga hoiye thakak sun baru… Tatei dekhun bhal future dekhisu.. :-)
