APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)

APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.

APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.

APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:

Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Date of APSC 2013 Main results:

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date.     How changes can be made when prelims has already been conducted???? Itz not unit test for class 3/4!!! How can u send such messages publicly to confuse others..plz dnt do that…u should know wat u r sending??

    After publishing Advt changes in mains not possible ! Apsc cannot able to that … 350 vacency ?? Almost all vacency of ACS will filled up through 2013/14/15 , aps already filled up like others service . May b vacency for land & revenue service cadre Advt this time . I think there will be paper like Assamese not feasible as in Assam bodo & Bengali ( Barak valley ) also official language . Etc ..

    @ rahul….No changes canbe made after the exam process had started i.e-Prelims had been already conducted. So whatever changes the commission wants ….can be only made for the next advertisement. Any changes at the present will lead to court issue……
    * If Assamese subject is introduced…..it will be just qualifying….i feel so……….

    i hv heard dat another prelims on d card an there r more den 350 posts…regarding mains 15 there may b some changes in syllabus…may b in d upsc line…one paper on assamese subject is also under consideration…dont kno how far it is true…i hv just heard so sharing wid u…pardon me for any wrong information…

    Regarding asstt audit officer results –

    Last exam for the same post was conducted on 5-2-2011… Results of written declared on 9-08-2011… Final result declared on 30th October ’11…. There was court case challenging the final merit list…. I was not a candidate… My friend gave all these information…

    So going by their track record we can expect the results by July…

    Yes Bhai @ golmaal . Extension officer recruitment provedure raised eyebrows. It seems like there will be no fair recruitment . May only 10% people will selected on merit !

    I think extention officer results time lagibo.. Because within a few days of form submission they conducted the exam… I think they didn’t Scrutinize the form to check the eligibility of the candidates… The exam was conducted in quick time just before the commencement of election code of conduct… Such swiftness is generally not associated with state government recruitment processes… This raises doubt about the transparency of the process… I think they are now involved in filtering out the eligible candidates & evaluation of their answer sheets only..

    @Harjit I was alsoo thinking the same (extension officer case)..but no contact number is given in the website!!! Its literally dead since April!!! What to do??
