APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)

APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.

APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.

APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:

Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Date of APSC 2013 Main results:

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date.     This is the season fr print/electronic media to earn money. This is nt news fr public, Dis is blackmailing. Today pratidin wil get the briefcase frm the “MAN” & frm tmrw Apsc news wil vanish. I think aftr Himanta, he is the best manage master in Assam. Governor, CM & Himanta only can remove him frm Apsc, which I think they wil never do, Sone ka aanda dene wala Murgi ko koi nahi katta.

    U r right he was an infamous lawyer,but waz very close to one powerfull barak reason ex minister. I thing d hotel is d ex ministers hotel Pratiksha in beltola. Last time in 2013 exam Protidin gave same news but price was ranged between 20-25 lakhs for acs,aps. This time 30-35 lakhs. Well done apsc,they have successfully raise d prices by 10 lakhs. This wz inevitable…hell wid our justice system. High court ordered preliminary cbi enquiry against paul which waz unfortunately stayed by highest court of d land d supreme court. Now whom ll paul afraid??

    @maverick, as per my limited knowledge he is a LLB.. Heard that he worked as a clerk in guwahati lower court… he was instrumental in gathering support for gaurav gogoi’s win in kaliabor constituency in Nagaon district..

    The border dispute between assam n nagaland has been going on for nearly five decades. It started soon after the creation of nagaland out of assam in 1963……this vexed issue took its birth due to the improper(as claimed by the nagas) demarcation of the boundaries between the two neighbouring states which was not acceptable to the newly created state of nagaland.as a result sporadic incidences of violence took place in the assam-nagaland border areas which was led by some naga miscreants who were hell bent on acquaring land forcibly from the innocent assamese people in the border areas.this miscreants also got the tacit support of nagaland government in their sinister designs…..due to this border dispute assam has lost several thousand hectares of land particularly in the districts of golaghat , karbi anglong , jorhat n sibsagar …the only way to solved this issue is to demarcate the border between the two neighbouring states in a way that is acceptable to all the stakeholders. …also the assam government should provide adequate security to all the assamese people living in the vicinity of the disputed areas….. as demanded by affected people the assam government should clear the decks to rope in the assam rifles to guard this sensitive areas.

    Anyway what do you think about boundary dispute of Assam with neighbouring countries …… Secondly guys we must also see Iranian revolution of 1979 …israel -Palestinian conflict and such things….. One friend of mine asked me a good question.what is the main reason for such terrorist activities increasing so rapidly…..     I am sorry for uttering bad words but honestly I am fed up of watching all these nonsense discussion.if we are getting a forum to discuss some good things be it PI or mains then we should go for discussions not wasting our time in wild speculation.so that’s why I behaviour in that unfortunate manner.apsc will declare result when they will find it appropriate.they are not going to work listening to our hue and cry.our job is to work hard and give best inside of us.last time I missed by few marks .this is my second attempt.so I am saying from my mistakes of last time.do not waste time in speculation….

Do you have any evidence regarding the allegation you have made against lonely that he has bribe the apsc officials to get selected as an aps………do not make such kind of serious allegation without any ample roof……..@ lonely. I know you are a straight forward person who just hates any kind of nuisances.
