APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)

APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.

APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.

APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:

Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Date of APSC 2013 Main results:

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date.     why people still discussing about new exams in a old exam thread? its hard to find..anyway in 1999/2000, 75% in HSLC was not normal… but now a days, getting 80%plus is not that hard as it was 15 years before… anyway my name is not in Akhil gogoi’s list… feeling happy

    Anybody who thinks that akhil Gogoi is fighting for him/her should do it in his own peril..these kind of personalities from time immemorial have been hoodwinking public into thinking that he is fighting for a noble cause that has far greater social implications. But nothing can be further from the truth.. Where did he get so much money to open an orchid garden is any body’s guess. Apw chief is from the same bloodline..his interest lies in staff college canteen..

    But AK fighting rakesh Paul in supreme Court is not that a discouraging fact.. That’s a court room battle between heavyweights kapil sibal & Prashant bhushan.. ideally it should not have been a personal battle.. But at least something is better than nothing..

    @caporegime, I just politely differ with you regarding guys with poor academic career succeeding in CCE & becoming acs/aps.. I have no issue if one or two special cases arise.. It should be rare case.. But it cannot happen in astonishing frequency… I am an engineer by qualification. . I didn’t find a single person senior or junior who secured 2nd division in class X & XII.. One can’t just wake up from a deep slumber of poor academic results one day & become acs in one attempt.. And funny thing is that most of them are kith & klin of politicians.. It defies any logic..

    Gm friends, Earlier I used to think that Mr AG is the ideal son of the soil and the perfect holy cow, from whom we can expect to get rid of the APSC corruption. He made us believe that he is the true saviour and will fight till the end with uttermost sincerity. Gradually, I am getting the bigger picture. The former COTTON GS IS NO Assamese ARVIND KEJRIWAL. All the fights he is fighting with comrade APWD SHARMA against anybody not willing to bow to his blackmailing tactics is the most badass example of Catch -22. True,there IS CORRUPTION AND PLAGIARISM IN APSC. But, Mr AG is only contemplating to take advantage of the situation . I believe the following points will justify me.
    1) The case filed in the SC by AG is regarding inappropriate funds of Paul. Its not about APSC corrupted selection process.
    2) last Apsc, he was shouting day in and day out after may 14,2015( final selection result declaration). We wrote mains,2014 dreaming for something and idolizing him. Suddenly, he alongwith Sharma of Apwd became silent. Why?
    3) HSLC/HSSLC/GRADUATION t 2/3 division doesn’t necessarily mean that a student is intellectually incapable of clearing Mains examination.
    4) Instead of getting angry with the system, he should have fought the election this time. But he got the vibes of BJP wind beforehand. He is eyeing for 2021 friends and just like senior HBS,he is the perfect politician and nothing else.

Final merit list t naam nathakileu eku katha nai… :-) tumar murat garu gubar ase buli sabei jane.. Aal bal gai praman nidileu habo…
