APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. For views and opinion related to APSC civil services exam, don’t forget to view this APSC 2013 discussion page.
@golmaal, ekdom hosa kotha koise…apsc d eku laav nai…apunar optional ki loise?? Kuntu subject scoring hoi?? Aru eman ghotala pasotu j apuni sesta kori ASE…hats off …i hope you pass this unfair xam this time…previously I used to oppose your wisdom but recently I got to know about a sales tax inspector of last batch…i went to that office for sone personal work…in the process I observed his phone rang continuously…later like a dumb head I to stay in that office for a long tym…i came to know that his phone rang for asking links…later I came to know that stupid guy was a rich fellow.. For the last 10 yrs or so he himself is running a business & out of touch with studies…even a month before the mains he went to Singapore for relaxing…even genuine candidates like kapinjal da wouldn’t dare to relax that way & wouldn’t pass the xam without mustering 2 optionals unlike that corrupt guy…later I came to know that his uncle’s shares a flat in the same building of the chairman…so there were certainly a few rotten eggs in the previous batch..
Guys stop this nonsense and start discussing PI topics……if u are getting a chance to sit in the PI then u should face it with full preparation not with some whimsical manner.so better discuss topics ……stop meaningless talks

mare entry thru d back door….????
@ankur, recent trends in APSC is they publish a pending result & wait for 5-13 days to release the next result… by that logic I feel APSC will release prelims result within next 5-12 days as fishery EO result came a few days before…but another pending result ie Mega recruitment of civil engineers final result could delay prelims result…however I think that civil engineer results is not on the cards as new govt would definitely take some time to come back ti the ground & steer the government…
Caporegime,Unknown all
Prelims result when?
Guys please discuss PI topics…..rhino poaching ground water uses/foreign policy and PM Iran visit/look east policy ne India development /isro achievement /water conservation/pollution and climate change/etc

@ jitaranjana How come you are so sure that there is no corruption this time?
News in Asomiya Barta@…quite obvious because BBDChoudhury, brother of the editor of the newspaper was kicked out…if there are any anomalies in the CCE 2014 Mains result, none other than BBDC is solely responsible…as the same were prepared during his tenure..I can bet -no anomalies in the result..they were prepared solely on merit..its an insult to those who have cleared the mains by dint of their hard work..plz stop all these nonsense..let d candidates concentrate on their viva..if u have nothing constructive to discuss, plz stay out..at least till the viva is over.
Called APSC today. Told prelim results within june!! Ufff

Prelims cut off would be around 70 % for general ( last time 67 % ) ….it is purely prediction so wait for 10 days ….rakesh pal said on tv result by end of May ….eagerly waiting for 28 for interview date
I think prelims 2015 cut off Will be around 276- 280 for General category.
@Bhaskar I told GS & some optional paper ws nt too easy that doesn’t means paper was tough & now-a-days candidates calibre increase so I think cut off wil little increase, nt too much.
@unknown.. jodi aebar hard ahisil paper tetiyahole cutoff komibo he lage… nohoi janu????
Bdo 25,26 Th ase …APSC r member u barhise….My point is JODI 15 Th June r pora interview start hoi, then it will hardly take 8 working days to complete the interview process.
@Unknown the second part of ur sentence contradicts the first part….cud u pls elaborate a lil
@Bandana Prelims cut off compare to last time slight bahibo, as this time except History all optional paper ws not too easy & GS paper also ws nt too easy.
