The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. For views and opinion related to APSC civil services exam, don’t forget to view this APSC 2013 discussion page.

@The Indian.. NABARD has changed the process this time. Last year they had descriptive papers in mains just like RBI grade B. Even prelims pattern has changed. Its a good move though.
@lonely, you are right.. I think mains in July last at the earliest..
Golmaal if results ….by this week do u think it is possible to conduct mains by July..I don’t think so.because in any case form fill up completion not before end of May.
NABARD has notified recruitment for its RDBS cadre. Hope forum members, who are eligible, put their best foot forward and compete with vigour. All the best :)
But I don’t think that there is any possibility of results declaration before election …..even after election there is little hope …it might be after the formation of govt….e.i after May……it is only my assumption…. I might be wrong.
Today One of my friends talked to an apsc employee whom he knows for quite some times.. The news that answer booklets are still not evaluated is sheer baseless & has no truth in it.. According to him results of bdo, mains, prelims, Jr asstt, ranger are either ready or about to be ready.. We can expect something within a week.. When my friend asked him if this time results would be without any scandals, he replied diplomatically though..
@All, I don’t know how much I can rely on that information as the employee is a grade 3 employee not a grade 1 officer.. So let’s just wait & watch..
Very sad dunno wat Apsc is doing … Heard dat mains copy yet to be checked …. Its happening only coz of elections n Rakesh paul just waiting for new govt to come ..only admin can throw light on ths
any new update guys…….do u think any result will come out this week….it is already very late

Really its frustrating..we all r expecting results atleast after election..if d news is to b believed dn wen can we expect results???it has bcum a never ending process..
@nahid…. Its a very sad news to listen that copies of mains are yet not checked… 10 months passed.. What they do with our copies for last 10 months…
Breaking news flashed in prag news..dey claimed dat mains copies r yet to b checked…
Can anyone help me. in choosing books for psychology mains Apsc ….. According to mains syllabus. Also anyone with psychology as optional ??????
