APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. YOU are mistaken. Never said about destroying cutting chopping…THERE are constitutional ways..like constitutional amendments…to go for just like now talks are going on for doing away with PLANNING COMMISION.

Should U be replied? Corruption is the cancer of constitutionally established bodies of democracy. So corruption and the corrupt should be eradicated. But if the cancer destroys the whole organ despite medications then the organ itself should be done away with to save other organs. Better not to gain anything than to lose.
Why dont we get solutions? Thats because for some people, who said what is noticeable but why said is not.

And @ADMIN please its my humble request dont let and filter such comments which uses unethical unconstitutional and languages which are uncalled for.Things like finishing cutting chopping are not followed in India.
TWO THINGS:
1. Last time in 2009 posts were few but more in 2014 and also GS and English paper relatively time consuming. So cut off would be lower.
2. Heard that some fishy things happened in recent Information Officer recruitment at APSC. If that happens then NO NEED OF SUCH COMMISSIONS. WE WILL FINISH IT.
don,t know whats wrong with this commission peoples it has almost been 5 months that we took the main exam but there is absoutely no any news about the result.such knd of long duration makes out nothing but only fishy.
I must secure a score 850 to 900 in mains. I apprd intervw in 2009. This time i hope to find a place in the final list.

If a candidate belong to general category secure 680 in the mains he will be surely called for viva voice.and if a candidate belong to sc category secure more than 720 in the mains he will surely find a place in the final merit list
