APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. @ pawan , cutt off will be 60 above for gen , 40 above for reserved catg .. 65 above & 45 above 90% chance of getting selected resp catg ..so cheers

Arunachal Pradesh PSC declared final results for APPS and APCS on 11th March 2016. Mains exam was held in July 2015 and Interview’s conducted from 8th March to 11th March 2016.

The cardinal truth that one should keep in mind and heart during these troubled times is that APSC CSE is not the end of life, and in its current form, does not quite qualify as being a purpose either. There are many other equally good, if not better, opportunities that are out for grabs which we often tend to overlook in the mad rush. The very fact that discussions degenerate on the forum is because there are emotions involved. These emotions, and I dont need to remind you guys of its inherent strength, can take you places if used in a “go-forward” attitude.
Central Govt jobs in all its forms and avatars are far better in many senses, being well paid is just one of them. The very fact that not many of our guys make it there makes it even more of a green field, just waiting to be tilled the way you want :)
While the mains/prelims results are awaited, I think the young minds here can invest some time in prospecting for alternate/back-up career options-both short and long term as the case may be. UNDP has recently advertised for certain positions, so have Directorate of Census Operations and DRDO through UPSC. Might want to explore those opportunities. ATB
Apsc is declaring all sorts of result n recently of medical officer under ESI…but falling short in declaring the mains 2014 results…. What’s doing on …only God knowns.

Ei forum r bahute last mains clear korisil… Rumours spread kara bad di parha huna kara… Exam t marks keitaman besike pai tumi acs/aps hole amar sabore bhal lagibo..

apsc pre 2014 around 38k appeared , apsc 2015 around 21 k appeared ! as per sources .. now question is why instead of increasing it decreasing year by year ??
