APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. See people like Mr bhuyan are trying to distract us or he is frustrated person venting his frustration in thus forum….civil service is not about money
.it is about being the change at least in a small corner of the society.if u are looking for money then go for MBA in IIM ….a person who prepare for civil service be UPSC or PSC he or she must have deep passion for the job….not for money…otherwise why he or she will undergo such rigorous study or face this uncertainty….if u really unsatisfied with the pay and perks then why don’t u quit the job???.why giving lectures????
@ Prasanta .. Bro that’s alright but I think marketing and sales jobs in private sector in fields like FMCG,Health etc are way better than any job in terms of Salary and Perks …so earning money is another thing and sheer pride of being one civil servant is another ….I thing most of the genuine candidates appear APSC or Other PSC for pride and respect ….otherwise for mere money we may look into bright prospects in fields of Coal Mafia, Liqour supplier etc. Those who want to join Civil service to be a money vending machine actually shouldn’t apear it..I know ur talent and capacity so plz stand up again …we need guys as u who can stand against these bustards …hatts off for ur last endeavour and fight against injustice….

@lonely, prasanta is not saying that banking jobs are better than civil service jobs.. He is just asking us to try in different fields as well which have good pay & perks to secure our future.. They are also less scandalous..

friends after 1 successful attempt I have come to a conclusion that I am not going to waste my time in such deadly games. Please try other exams also. Some other jobs like LIC AAO, PSU banks MTs are financially more sound. eg- as MT in psu bank you will get Rs30,000+ in hand. Rs 10,000 as house rent. petrol 35 ltr, mobile bill, sumptury, briefcase allowance, instant TA bill, flight fare in long distance office tour, LFC after every 2 years-flight fare for Scale II & above officers (in state govt you will get once in whole service life), 100% & cashless mediclaim, maternity cost 100% (for spouse & self), housing loan at simple interest upto 60 lakhs, car & bike loan in long term basis & simple interset, incentive for every business achievement, transparent & corruption free environment, cosmopolitan nature, better office premises, instant availment of staff benefits, no tension for spouse in case of death of husband. So consider APSC as a lucky draw & try hard for other exams.
@Golmaal…you are right.I mean APSC can not manipulate my answer script due to mcq pattern.But APSC can favour thier own candidates in this system.Therefore I dont feel that after expecting 480 i am in safe position.

21942 candidates applied for 11 BDO post. Moreover the paper was moderate one. Probably they will call 231/250 candidates for the main exam.

Yesterday I met a copassenger related to one ACS coaching institute ..as I repeatedly asked him any information about result said result may be in February itself….again said it may after election …look like he was more confused than me
