APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:

Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Date of APSC 2013 Main results:

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. • Yes Paul & Co should & must go..

  • PAUL SHOULD GO…

  • If the recruitment process is transparent thn i believe we will no longer see those “magical marks” (200+ in GS, 190+ in optionals). Only genuine candidates with genuine marks will get through.

Higher mains cutoff is probably due to the magical marks secured by so called “BRILLIANT(??)” candidates.

  • Can we all write to Assam tribune’s editor column so that it reaches to everyone appreciating our controller sir. If anyone of u know controller sir personally than convey our best wishes to him.

  • @all….I also regard that the present controller of examination of apsc is an honest, moral& dedicated person….he is very committed to his duty….so why such rumours? Believe the things will be changed this time….help the controller to deliver his duty in right direction….

  • @aspirant, yes you are right.. He belongs to a rare species which don’t thrive on money..

  • Few apsirants burns their midnight oil to get the job and others enjoy day n night n finally buys the job.. I really want to fight against the injustice.. But the thing is that neither i have money nor power.

  • @James: I have heard from few renowned person who told me that the present controller is person of ethics and morality.. I had a sigh of relief when he was appointed as the controller.. Justice based on morality, merit & equality should prevail at any cost.. I really appreciate our controller sir wholeheartedly.

  • There are ample examples and proof how marks got changed in copies of Cce’13.There are candidates whose marks got increased in invisible columns (main+pi+marks from unknown sources)…cases filed with proofs.Court orderd helding of vivas for those candidates.I cn go on and on.

And here you come(I dn know frm which heaven) and allege that controller is having interest.where were you ostrich when earlier kaarnamas happened. When a guy with spotless career record trying to do his best to declare a main result clean you allege him to plant stories in media.seriously are you that naive? Or trying to be face of certain section of people in this forum who blindly supported all suspucious candidates in cce’13.God bless

  • @Sameer: Itz true dat he is fighting against corruption.. Mainly fighting for the cause of the students.. We need to appreciate him.

  • @anamika, apsc r uparat bharakha kari thakile genuine manuh xakolure hataxai hat lagibo.. Heyehe deutai kuar nisina belegotu ami sesta salai jabo lagibo..:-)

I don’t doubt the integrity of the controller because of a simple logic.. We all know about mendacity of Paul & Co… They have tarnished the image of apsc with unprecedented anomalies, irregularities & corruption.. They are a rotten lot.. If you desire instant gratification just join them… So if the controller wants to earn some extra bucks why would he fight the rotten lot of Paul & Co? If he is fighting them, he is fighting corruption…

  • @Randip: I appreciate ur positivity..

  • SCRAP THE LIST 13…SATYAMEVA JAYATEY..

  • Everything is fine..but what is the personal interest of the present controller because of which he wants to stay in APSC even when he was promoted as the Jt Secy of the Co-operative Deptt..why did he not move to his new assignment and instead trying his level best to stay here using his contacts..why is he indulging the media to focus in such news which would help him to stay in his present assignment…really suspicious..!!!

  • @anamika, just clearing the doubts with @jitaranjana… Ya you are right. jobs in academic field are prestigious & mostly awarded on the basis of merit.. I am a MBA finance. I worked for a private bank for 6 years & now working as an administrative officer in IIT Kharagpur.. I am seriously preparing for civil service exam but like your father I know it well that APSC is not bankable at all…
