APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.

Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. Still I believe that if we can post marks then some approximation can be attained
More than 20000 candidates(may be more than that) have appeared in prelims 2016. Among them,less than 25% view this link & less than 10% submit posts. Besides, judging from previous posts, history may have been easy. But it can only influence the cut off, when the remaining 28 optionals were of very difficult standard. And in my view,that is not the case. Some may have found education easy. Or geography ,Maths, chemical engineering, physics, anthropology etc.
The thing is Apsc prelims cut off discussion can be speculated by everyone . But proper prediction can’t be done. Its just an emotional outburst of anxiety and restlessness to know what lies beneath the wall. Futility at its best,I guess.
@ All…. What happened to political science compared to history…..am only score 128 in political science….this optional was tougher this year….

If u people can post ur expected marks with ur category even ur friend’s marks also then we can approximate cut off.i know three people all history including me expecting more than 300,marks.two 290 plus two 270 plus one 260 plus and two 250 plus

Yes Raj ur right..other papers were tough.so 288 is very good indeed.OC cut off won’t pass 280,.because 70% is too high
@ nupur .if ur score is 288 u would definitely clear the prelims.cut off for oc would not exceed 280 because except history the other optional papers were tough this time.
Nupur I am also open category general ..i think 288 is sufficient to clear in any category…and Ruby yes.History was really easy.everyone I know with history as optional scoring more than 300 total.
My score would be 288 ..as a general category candidate I don’t see a bright chance of clearing prelims this time. Hope result of mains will be declared soon.

@Ruby, Rumi and other interested candidates,
Visit APSC office with your relevant reference documents and a properly formatted application. Sometimes, applications are received by the front office. If that’s the case, ask for an acknowledgement receipt. Otherwise take a pass and visit the Controller of Examination to submit your application.
What to write in the application?
Address your letter to: Principal Controller of Examination, APSC
Subject: Complaints regarding wrong Answer Keys
As usual, write the introduction part of the application and then create a table to present the your details. Example:
