APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. For views and opinion related to APSC civil services exam, don’t forget to view this APSC 2013 discussion page.
The website gkduniya is registered to some H. Talukdar. So apparently it is possible that the site uploaded the question paper after the exam. Previously also they have uploaded APSC question paper on their site. Secondly, regarding cutoff i guess it will be around 275-280 for UR and 265+ for OBC.
@siva, prelims results by March 1st week. Mains should commence from end of June like it was for CCE 2013 mains. State assembly election due in April-May.
friends any update…..last preliminary result katiya dibo parae…..if result by march mid then when mains will be held?????? because after mains form fill up at least 3months gap is essential before mains starts

Aji result dbo pare….last time aug 1st t mains hekh hoisil and result was declared on 14 th feb(2nd Saturday).
This time July 1st t hEkh hoise, so taking the duration into consideration, January 9th (2nd Saturday) i.e aaji dbo pare.
and Ruby if ur OC then i think u will be just on the margin.but if any reservation then easily clear.I dont think OC cut–off will be more than last time.because politicalnand education were tough and GS was also.
hmm.there will be illegal practises ..but it should not hamper our effort.many got selected by virtuebof their merrit.although they are minority.so instead of speculating about Gondogul in Apsc better prepare for PI if expecting a call…..If u perform good u will get marks

i have gone through the answer key of political science where i have found that the answer for question no 40 has been given as 44th amendment act ,but this act made the president to act according to the reconsidered advice of the ministry.In the question it has not been mentioned as reconsidered advice.so it should be 42nd amendment act.

@ruby, kiya gandogul nahobo he. Pratibarei influential manuhar lora sualiye exam diye. Garu gubar xupa murat loi heibure gandogul nakarake ACS janu pabo. So expect the expected & the obvious. APSC was found wanting in its defence last time. So this time it is plugging those holes. So it would need another month or so ;-)

@siva, yes that is a big concern. A few were caught but some could manage to give a slip to the authorities. The invigilators don’t bother to stop them. That makes the honest candidates hapless.
u r right.but i am concerned with large scale mobile use in many centers of Guwahati.even i have come to know of somebody who did more than 85 correct entries in GS using net
