The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. For views and opinion related to APSC civil services exam, don’t forget to view this APSC 2013 discussion page.

Thanx for info bro. Ami whatsapp t kotha hoisilu. Monat asene apunar. Eta mesg dibasun parile. Apunar no tu miss hoi gol. Moi call karim. Whatspp nai mor etiya. So plz direct msg pothaba.
@3nayan. Friend you are correct. This piece of news was covered by the media as well just a few days before the exam. But somehow it couldn’t be proved that time. But do you think anyone has left those mails in their inboxes. Only Google can help to recover those deleted mails, that too only when the court orders so.
@ Prasanta & all who has filed cases already….want to inform you that many gS PAPER was leacked for sure….many got it through their mails from some fake account…one of my friend got d mail containg all 6 marker questions on 22nd july 2014…one week before d start of d exam ..he showed it to me few days back…
so it would be prudent to get the mails of selected (suspected) candidates checked….nd high court instruction in this regard would be great to get a comprehensive investigation..surely this would be much of help to d cases going on…

High court order… Please scroll down…
@rituraj
Thank you for info. Eibar jadi eku nahai Axom eri paluwai bhal haba.
ok prasanta..nice…hv faith in u.
@sameer…thanx for the link. i remember the lawyer saying that to prove a bribery case in a court of law one has to confess about giving/taking bribe…none will do that. as to ur other questions i hv no answer …i can only wish the judiciary gets an eye to recognise such anomalies..i personally feel that the indian judiciary has a tendency to look for the direction to which the wind is blowing..take the case of general vk singh, the loc scam, secret killings…in 2006 in an appointmnt made by OIL, there were widespread anomalies..i was one of the signatories who filed a case of corruption in the hc. a stay order was served by the hc on the process which was lifted by the court itself a few days after without going into the depth of the case. barring one or two jdges, the judcary is not strong enough to go against the govt., but ..if the matter is taken to the sc ..i hope smthing will happen..i only wish the judicry becmes strong enough to defy the gvt/psc…

Fir against CM and chairman
@rituraj. Regarding FIR against the chairman, there were news of someone lodging a FIR in Dispur or basistha PS after the results were declared. But I am not sure though
As far as I know,Akhil is ready to approach SC if high court does not scrap the result of cce13. A very senior advocate whom we all know for anti corruption movement and a good friend of Akhil will appear for free.
@rituraj. Thanks for the inputs. But what kind of judgment will it be if the honorable court pronounce a judgement without going into much details?
Who will take accountability for the wrong answer keys, that too 12 in total. What about those candidates who had chosen the right answers but was deprived a sit in the mains because of the wrong keys. Similarly why wouldn’t the prelims be re evaluated again based on the correct answer keys this time. Now that the honorable court had accepted that there were indeed wrong answer keys, will not it be gross violation of right to equal opportunity & right to justice(if I have got them right) to let it go like that.
These are the questions bouncing off my mind. If @rituraj you have answers please let us know.
@prasanta…i talked today with a senior advocate of the honble GHC over the prospects of the pil filed by akhil.accrdng to him the pil has nt yet been admitted by the HC. the honble HC has only ordered the APSC to file anaffidavit to let the court know some details. he expressed doubts about the prospects of the pil due to the following matters:
1. akhil sud hv employed a supreme court lawyer as bijon is more known as a criminal lawyer who is less xperienced in pil or wpc cases.
2. there hs nt been a single FIR lodged against the chairman of the apsc on corruption charges. the court sees to such things while deciding a matter.
3. apsc has followed the prescribed rules due to which it wud b technically difficult to prove wrongdoings in a court of law. earlier in a similar case, honble justice ranjan gogoi had arranged to examine the answer scripts by a specially constituted body ….even then nothing cud be proved.howvr, in an instance, the SC rejected a list of candidates selected for enforcement inspctrs bcoz the whole process was illegal..but no such anomaly can b pointed out against the apsc in this case.
4.it is unlikely that the hc wud go to such depth as to compare marks obtained by successful n unsuccseful candidates. he thinks, the HC wud wind up the case by laying down some guidelines to the apsc to be followed in future exams. so ,the present merit list will remain intact until and unless the case is raised in the supreme court.
many a word said by him were beyond my comprehension. however, these were only obsrvations made by him.i look forwrd to the outcome with mixed feelings.
High court has ordered apsc to give the names of selected candidates related to politicians n bureaucrats…. Apart from others… And also the qualifications of chairman n members… I have a copy of the high court order… Interested persons can contact me via.. Getgourav11@gmail.com
@prasanta…hats off to you…we need civil servants lyk u…
