The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. That’s what one APSC employee told us. Basically it is too early to give an exact date. For views and opinion related to APSC civil services exam, don’t forget to view this APSC 2013 discussion page.

@ Enthu,Winner n others
Thnx for ur comments.Can someone suggest Sociology first paper book apart from the Durgeswar Doley guide??
@admin, thanks :-)
@august, 70 in English is plain cheating.. So fight.. Another 100 marks may be ‘found’ somewhere in your answer sheets
@All, looking at delay tactics of apsc in RTI reply something is smelling fishy.. Speed of RTI reply is slow but the process of recruitment of qualified candidates is more. This generally doesn’t happen with assam government jobs..
It seems RTI is the weak point of apsc.. My RTI application date will complete one month in next few days.. How to go about with a complain to the CIC as that seems the way ahead.. I don’t think first, second appeal would be any different.. Please guide..
@admin
Admin, plz provide us the cut off list for apsc cce 2013, as was given for cce 2009. If you are yet to get final confirmation about the cut offs for different services & for different categories, atleast let us know the minimum cut offs including mains+viva. Thanks
@Admin,
What is the cut off for OBC including viva for APS?
Hi Guys,
I came to know my CCE-Mains 2013 through an rti. It is 20 Marks short of meeting the last cutoff for viva,in my category st(p). They have awarded me 70/300 in English, which is rude awakening, having studied all my life in English medium. In the same rti I have asked for copies of my evaluated answer script. They didn’t reply anything. So can anyone help me…How can I get my paper re check or see for myself?? Or should I file a fresh rti or move to CiC for their non response? Or take legal recourse now?
@selected for viva, may all deserving candidates find their way into to the list with or without scrapping the list..
@Randip,
And how to do the 1st appeal?
Already filed RTI 25 days ago.
@Sameer, this type of discrepancy is rampant in this 2013 exam, that’s why whole list should be scrapped . Don’t be happy with only one post..
That’s why enquiry is important. Why is Abhijeet Sharma not taking this opportunity!
Good news is that I post from CCE 2013 is already vacant.. A candidate has been found to be allotted extra 19 marks whereas he actually scored 889.. So those who scored above 900 check up your case as this is the opportunity.. A post in the allied services is waiting to be grabbed..
Go for 1st appeal immediately..
Called APSC RTI cell, said a lady that photocopies of answer sheets will be available later. They will send a letter to my address for the money to be paid against the expenditure of Xeroxing the pages .Then I will have to go to collect them . It would be too late to think anything after that.
@Raj,immediately file first appeal at APSC itself.everyone please file RTIs.its power to people,use it.see one girl has already used it and HC has declared her qualified in mains.its a prestigious examination,how can they commit such mistakes.
@selected for viva & august,
Is there any re-evaluation process? In our view, RTI is the only available tool.
Interested candidates may submit a RTI application requesting copies of their answer booklets. We published a format for the same. Problem is they delay the process citing odd reasons. You need to keep pressuring them by visiting personally or calling regularly! After receiving the copies of your answer booklets, examine them carefully. If you find anomalies in marking, you can challenge it in the High Court. Hearing your case, court may direct APSC to re-evaluate the answer booklets.
@Admin and Fellow members, Moi APSC k RTI file kora 1 month par hoi gol. Kintu etia leke APSC falor pora kunu reply pua nai.Next step ki lobo lage kunubai guide koribo paribo neki?

Admin,
please give update on re-evaluation..
@Admin, please update on the process of revaluation . Crazy mark in GS . .. still Selected for viva because of good marks in the other subjects.But not selected in the Final list..because of overall less marks. Can I go for revaluation now for GS paper ?
Hello guys,
I received my CC-2013 mains marks through an RTI reply. It is 22 marks short of meeting the cut-off in my category ST(P).The rude awakening score of 66/300 in English makes me go for re-evaluation . Can anyone tell me how to move forward? I want to see for myself those evaluated answer sheets.
