APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. Friends….I hv written this letter to Assam Tribune out of sheer anger but didnt get published….. is sharing with you……….:”Hunger Strike Against APSC & Its Moral Obligation Towards State”.. Sir- The great responsibility of advancing the state in social, economic and cultural and political fronts lies on the shoulders of the administrative officers. The recent corruption charges against this mere institution raise the eyebrows of many intellects. The continuous voice of AKHIL GOGOI against APSC’s mischievous deeds is more than praiseworthy. The sacrifice he is doing with his generous hunger strike is more than what it can be praise with words. People of Assam should support his martyrdom which he is doing alone for the cause of the motherland. In fact he alone is not eating the reaped fruits of this land. We all should stand by him. Being the constitutional head of the state it is the responsibility of Mr. TARUN GOGOI to live by with the aspirations and prospects of the people of Assam. But he has forgotten all in sake to keep his chair intact. ‘How selfish you are Mr. TARUN GOGOI.’ I should remind you that if you live with the people’s aspirations and moral obligation towards the state as a head, your CM’s chair will remain intact. Indeed moral deeds are immortal. I feel ashamed how irresponsibly you are shielding off the misdeeds of Mr. Rakesh Paul. I want to question Rakesh Paul, Samedur Rehman and Basanta Doley…Is there any mere patriotic feeling lies in your heart. If you belongs to this state, isn’t this you responsibility to shoulder the responsibility of your home state on the hands of some of the efficient sons/daughters of the soil. Mr. Rakesh Paul You are a decent follower of a particular religion… you preach a voluminous people… you gain so much of knowledge on religious scripts… Is that pertinent to your inner self? Does your soul have any spiritual value or you basically demonstrate it before people? If it had been, you would have practice your faith without corrupting it, if you cannot innovate anything new don’t debase the faith of the system which grew on sheer hard work of so many faithful and loyal sons of the soil. They have given their blood to save her mother from foreigner’s humiliation. I am sure you vampires don’t have the blood of the soil. You don’t want your mother to maintain its chastity. You simply want to enjoy your life ignoring your mother’s pain. Whatever may be the religion or faith you are following the protector of it will never forgive you. Whatever may be the way, you will feel the sufferings in this life itself. The original sons and daughters of the soil will never forgive you. You may be an expert in managing affairs, to shut off the mouths of loud speakers of so called leaders. Am speechless on how you managed the spoken mouth of some of the loud speeches. Within half an hour you have managed them not to air out the messages that had been alleged against you. We are mere speculators who could do nothing because we don’t have the money of power. Our so called CM has turned blind and deaf on the alleged scam. He should step down if he doesn’t have the courage to point finger on it.

randip i agree with you and it’s very sad and disturbing to see that students who actually suffer in the process ,are taking a back seat.Not a single college has protested.Fear is the main cause.
Go to APSC office…call controller why scripts are not sent to RTI cell…file 2nd appeal..if no reply,then u can go to state information commissioner…RTI IS OUR POWER..every soul who has written mains should file an RTI and if there is no reply then immediately they should file first appeal….RAIZ,PLEASE DONT SIT IDLE…PLEASE…WHY STUDENTS OF COTTON,GU and other prestigious institutions are not coming on the streets…

As mentioned by Chandana here in this forum,go and give an application to first appeallate of RTI @APSC office as its more than a month and we r yet to receive the replies.PLEASE SHOW SOME AWARENESS GUYS…DONT HAVE THE ATTITUDE OF “HOBO ARU” .APSC is already on backfoot…we need to strengthen our fight.but today atleast call for your marks..and if possible go and give an appeal..
