APSC CCE 2009 Final Cutoff Marks (Mains + Interview)
APSC Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2013 candidates who appeared in Mains exam are now waiting for the results. What was the cutoff last year? How was your performance? Was it good enough to make it to the list? This article is for those APSC mains candidates. Find below the cutoff marks for various categories against various posts in APSC CCE 2009.
APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2009 Final Cutoff:
Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts Combined Competitive Examination for recruiting in various posts under Assam Civil Services and allied services. Following are the category wise cutoff marks of APSC CCE Final exam 2009 (also called as 2011), result of which was announced on April 26, 2013.

The marks above include interview. That means they are out of all total 1600, not just 1400 of CC (Main) Exam. The highest cutoff was 961 or 60.06% for ACS and APS posts in open category. The lowest cutoff was 762 or 47.62% for Inspector of taxes post in Scheduled Tribe (Hills) category. Category wise, lowest cutoff score for General category was 927 or (57.93%). Lowest OBC cutoff was 833 i.e. 52%. Compared to UPSC Civil Services examination, these values are high.
APSC 2013 Final Cutoff:
Cutoff marks are hard to predict. Because they are influenced by various factors such as candidates in different subjects, pattern of question papers, examiners etc. Higher standards of valuation can easily push cutoff scores down. But it is seen that cutoff marks of civil services examinations fluctuate within a range. The APSC Mains written examination was held in Guwahati from July 1 to July 27, 2014. Though nearly 3000 candidates were selected, several candidates didn’t appeared in the Mains. Also we heard that some papers were tougher than previous years. So, what will be the cutoff for APSC 2013? Will it be around 55-60% for General and 50-55% for OBC? Or it will change drastically? Have any good guess? Feel free to express your views.
Date of APSC 2013 Main results:
Any tentative dates for declaration of APSC 2013 Main exam results? If everything goes smoothly, APSC 2013 Mains examination results will be announced by the end of September or early October. I had filed an rti way back on 16/02/2015 asking for my mains score. Since they didn’t let me clear mains.They APSC replied on 12/03/2015 vaguely. Like disclosure of my score will affect third party/ selection process…UPSC reveals marks only after the entire process is over,so will APSC..above all information sought is regretted… Don’t file a new rti app , we shall let u know etc etc..Its been about 20 days now since the declaration of that nepotism/kith & kin list. I haven’t received my marks yet.The level of manipulation which went with APSC system this year is open to everyone;despite that my friends sent me pics of those money backed select candidate felicitations/ phulam gamusa, asking for guidance took place at various places.Its very funny to see many of those idiots guiding students to read this book…I used to study 12 hours a day…blah blah. Well it doesn’t bother me too much either,I have been writing IAS mains for the last two years continuous,and IAS only our hope now. I am 25 year old this was my second IAS attempt/mains and I belong to ST category. Stays in Delhi.

I dont want to pass through this same terrible state of mind again. Corruption’or kotha etialeke hunisilu podhisilu kintu nije prothom baaror babe jibonot iyak anubhob korisu usoror pora..There are far better jobs than this which we all fully deserve. We need to take it up as a challenge.

@enthusiastic, capsule and all…..I understand the sentiments but please don’t cast aspersions on Dipti Morang…..I know Dipti ba for years now….and she has a brilliant academic and professional career…she has been always a topper…she was the topper of miranda house college ( history honors) both at graduation and pg….whether cracking TISS entrance or ACS, she has always been the best…she was working with planning commission…..out of hundreds, she was selected for the one vacancy they had
@enthusiastic….you could not find her intv because she does not like such limelight….channels had approached her but she politely refused….I know about her family and she belongs to a real meritorious one….yes, her twin brother had got through last time. ..but he is as brilliant as her….and as far as I know, one of her relatives is also serving as an IAS officer (that person held a very good rank in upsc)
Basanta Doley is a very distant relative of hers and she had never even met him in her life
we must raise our voice against corruption but without knowing anything about a person it’s really unfair to assassin her character like this….we are all deserving here…and this really hurts when people like you all judge someone just because some channel has made an issue of the fact that she is a relative of a member. ….

Manuh’ok ketiaba ACS buliu nijoke porisoi di koleu sobei tu eitue bhabibo poisa dise aru sakori paise..! Is there any point of writing this exam after knowing the reality ??
